I’ve been to many dealerships in my lifetime and Carissa (the lady who sits in front of the entrance) is the most welcoming and best salesperson ive had the pleasure of working with. I am usually a hardo when it comes to making big purchases but Carissa was more than supportive and looking out with my best interest at heart. If this review was just for my experience with the sales agent, it would be 10 out of 5. The only knock on my experience would be with service, i ended up having to take my new purchase to the carwash afterwards because they didnt do a great job with the windows. The previous owner didnt take great care of the car and it was a mess when i test drove it and smelled strongly of cig smoke. I believe the dealership got it a month or so before i purchased it which means it hadn’t been opened since they got it in for trade. However, i am an experienced buyer and walked into the dealership knowing exactly what i wanted and didn’t let that effect my attitude towards the staff as a whole as i know they all work very hard to make this a positive experience for the customer. If any other customer were to test drive that vehicle, the shape it was in along with the odor probably would’ve had them not even want to drive the car out of the lot. Unfortunately, because of this, i didnt feel like i was being respected at the start because i had made an appointment to come by after work & made it known what car i was going to test drive, so you would think the recruiter (who had been communicating to me prior to my appointment) would make sure the car looked and smelled okay before i drove it. Carissa did make up for this though. Carissa acknowledged my worries and even freshened up the car for me before i picked it up and not only was she very helpful, but also very communicative as well, letting me know exactly what needed to be done so i could pickup my new car without any troubles. This may have been the swiftest purchase experience of my life and its thanks to the wonderful staff like Carissa who helped make my trade in seamless and affordable. I ended up purchasing the affordable dream vehicle i have been searching for and got a generous offer for my unwanted trade. Im someone who likes to give the sales staff a hard time in negotiations, but this team welcomed me with open arms and smiles, and in terms of making the customer feel appreciated, this sales staff is top in my books. Thank you to the team at Tasca kia in johnston. I definitely recommend stopping by here if you are looking for a good customer experience. They are upfront, friendly, complimentary, and professional. GREAT experience!! Had no intention of buying a new car; simply wanted to get a newer Kia Sportage. (Note: we had been to three other dealerships in two days.
