Hi, My recent experience had been very upsetting with Lexus Serramonte,. The honest approach of sales was totally missing, there were lot places I was lied upon. They somehow did not allowed me to put a Lexus Serramonte,. The honest approach of sales was totally missing, there were lot places I was lied upon. They somehow did not allowed me to put a co-signer which I wanted to (telling me all lies that I won’t get my application approved as a first time buyer which is a total xx), so that they can earn a high rate of interest from me going towards their own Lexus finance, which I realized later and that was quite unethical. Also, the emphasis of the finance guy was totally on selling me the extended warranty and didn’t even told me about the Prepaid maintenance plan, which I believe is much beneficial for any car buyer. Although the Sales team at Lexus Serramonte was friendly, yet the finance guy was highly on the upselling of their stupid packages, and they even misguided me and put me to buy their extended warranty thing giving me an impression that it also has the prepaid maintenance package, which was not true, and the very next day when I realize that, I had put down my cancellation form of extended warranty with an assurance from them that the whole amount will be refunded. Yet another dark surprise came my way when I decide to follow up after 6 weeks regarding my refund. I was told that the amount will be adjusted to the principle of my loan! And, I don’t think the Lexus Financial services has the liberty to manage the money which was suppose to be refunded to me by Cheque! When I brought this issue into GM’s notice, even he raised his hands upon this matter! Such a misguiding dealership.. I would highly recommend not buying cars from this dealership. The Lexus dealership at Oakland were yet very responsive in giving quotes and they gave me a high discount later on the purchase of Prepaid maintenance package, the only reason I couldn’t buy a car from them is because of the travel distance. Beware of the one at Serramonte. Really sad to see how they try to take advantage of new immigrants who just want to trust More
