I went to Vann York Toyota after having looked online at a specific car for months. They had the exact one I wanted. Charles Martin is an honest salesman with a clear set of principles he tries to practice. I am particularly disappointed in Toyota Corporation, not so much this dealership. I tried to purchase my leased car directly from the leasing company based on the contractual agreement I received three years ago. I could not. My price and conditions were clearly stated but had nothing to do with the way the whole process turned out. I was forced to seek out a dealer and that dealer put on additional charges for administration and profit. I understand the extra charge for administration but to add a profit to a price I had contractually agreed to three years earlier? I felt slimmed by this whole process. I will add, dealer management made a concession that helped me get through the process. While I'm thankful for that, the entire problem could have been avoided had I been able to just buy the car from the Toyota leasing organization without an intermediary. Finally, I found the people at Vann York to be honest folks who helped in every way they could. More
