We are very sorry that we were unable to make a warranty claim to Nissan Corp. for this repair. The 3 year 36 month warranty from Nissan (or any other manufacturer) does not cover physical damage to a vehicle. We know that you do not feel that you struck anything with the front corner of your bumper however it is very possible that someone else may have struck the vehicle while in a parking lot while you were not around. As a franchised dealer we try to find things that need done to a customer’s vehicle that we can cover under warranty for the obvious reason of getting paid by the factory to do the work. The repair to your bumper is also considerably more than a $5.00 clip as you state in your review. We are willing to repair the bumper at our cost of $140.00 which we are confident you will find is the most inexpensive way to get this taken care of.
