Chris has been with Oakley Auto World since 1998 and stepped into the role of Business Manager over 16 years ago. He is responsible for compliance and maintaining strong relationships with our lenders. Chris does a great job serving us and our customers with continued education in the areas of finance and service agreement options. Chris grew up in the area and has been married to his wife Jennifer for over 19 years and they have 2 sons. When not at work he can surely be found on the basketball court with his boys or tournament fishing.

Worst car buying experience ever. The only reason I gave them a 2 is because they had the decency to trade the first train wreck of a truck with a bad transmission among other things More

Hi Brent.Goerlitz, we’re sorry you feel this way, but we want to correct a few inaccuracies. We do not charge a $1,100 “maintenance app.” Our only standard fees are a $489 administrative fee and a $595 LoJack transfer, which includes our Oakley Advantage 6 month / 6,000 mile coverage. These fees are disclosed on our website and reviewed prior to signing. When concerns came up after the sale, we acted in good faith by trading you into another vehicle and offering to split some of cost of repairs on the original vehicle you purchased through our service department. We stand behind doing what’s right for our customers and operating transparently.

Well let’s break this down. You’re right, I was inaccurate in one instance. The repair estimate was over $2600 not $2300 as I stated. I have a copy of the estimate if anyone is interested. Nobody offered to split any of the cost. Even if, that would still have been more than I would have been willing to pay. In fact, I was charged over $300 to diagnose all the problems. The LoJack (maintenance app), which includes the Oakley Advantage 6 month / 6,000 mile coverage, wouldn’t have covered any of the repairs. I don’t know what coverage is included but it wasn’t going to help me. Yes, you did allow me to trade the damaged vehicle for another one. And as I stated, that’s what earned you a 2 instead of a 1 rating. Y’all are transparent as a brick wall. I asked several questions prior to trading and got a bunch of shoulder shrugs. Look, I came there in good faith to buy a pickup. Your website boasts “peace of mind”. I didn’t get that feeling. You asked for a review and I’m giving you one. It was a very frustrating, stressful, and disappointing experience. Other potential customers should know what can happen and what to expect. And by the way, for anyone interested, that damaged truck is back on the lot for sale for $1300 more than I originally paid. So buyer be ware.
