My wife and I have an 850 credit score. I was told by the Gilcrest sales person, I only needed to report my income to secure good financing. I was told I did not qualify for 1.9% GM financi I was told by the Gilcrest sales person, I only needed to report my income to secure good financing. I was told I did not qualify for 1.9% GM financing. I later learned that I should have included my wife’s income as well to achieve better financing. This is the first brand new vehicle I have ever purchased and feel I was misguided on getting the best credit options. I don’t purchase a new vehicle every day, but Gilcrest does sell them every day. They should have told me to include my wife’s income when trying to get the best credit. The service department does a good job and kept to my appointment schedule. More
