I originally left a 5-star review, but after having time to reflect on the entire experience, I no longer feel that rating accurately represents what happened. I believe a review should be honest, so I’m sh to reflect on the entire experience, I no longer feel that rating accurately represents what happened. I believe a review should be honest, so I’m sharing my experience. My biggest concern was how my grandfather and I were treated during the process. We were completing two deals that night—mine and my boyfriend’s. I originally wanted to complete my deal with Chris Mejia, but as the process continued, Jared became involved. We had communicated that we wanted to continue the next morning, but the process was pushed that night and ultimately continued into the morning of the 16th. I also noticed a significant change in Jared’s demeanor after I said we needed to continue the next morning, and that really stayed with me. There were also concerns with my boyfriend’s financing. Nate explained that the bank’s issue was related to my boyfriend having less negative equity than I did. However, after reviewing the contracts, I saw that his deal was reworked, including changes to the add-ons and the numbers. Seeing that process firsthand showed me that the paperwork could be restructured when necessary, which left me with questions about how my own situation was handled. I was also a returning customer, with my grandfather participating in and signing my main deal, while my boyfriend was a new buyer with a co-signer. Because of the differences between the two transactions, I had legitimate questions and concerns about how everything was handled. On the 18th, I emailed General Manager Rick to explain what happened and give the dealership an opportunity to address my concerns, but I never received a response. I eventually spoke with Tim, explained my experience, and told him how I felt my grandfather and I had been treated. Tim apologized and offered to have the windows tinted. I appreciated the offer, but the tint wasn't really what I was looking for. I wanted my concerns and the way we were treated to be genuinely acknowledged. I gave the dealership an opportunity to make things right, but ultimately I left feeling unheard. The financing issues were frustrating, but what stayed with me most was how my grandfather and I were treated and the change in the interaction when we said we needed to continue the next morning. I’m not writing this to hurt anyone—I’m simply sharing my experience honestly because that’s what a review should be. More
