A routine oil change ended up taking 6 hours. There was a recall on the girl pump that needed to be replaced. Fine. When I left, my fuel gauge showed 3/4 of a tank, where it should be. Before I got home (less than 8 miles away), my low fuel light came on. I called the dealership and was given a difficult time - we’re happy to schedule an appointment. No, you need to fix this today! I finally got through to the person I worked with at the dealership and he told me to come back. It was another 90 minutes to fix it - there was an issue with the float valve that didn’t properly show how much gas I had left. It was fixed but this should have been part of the QC process. More
