We use Hyundai for all of our service work. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Service is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Chuck Matlock and his department is trustworthy and reliable. THE WAY BUSINESS SHOULD BE DONE!!! I took my car in THE WAY BUSINESS SHOULD BE DONE!!! I took my car in for it's 3 month service to make sure it was ready and clean to take my daughter off to college THE WAY BUSINESS SHOULD BE DONE!!! I took my car in for it's 3 month service to make sure it was ready and clean to take my daughter off to college. The gentleman at the service desk was very informative and personable. I did not remember that the first oil change was free so that was a nice surprise, I just remember the salesman saying something about I could bring my car in once a year for the next 3 years to have it cleaned or something to that effect. I've gotten a little lazy over the years. The service sheet stated I received a 3750 serv change and filter etc.($0.00), walk around ($0.00), WASH AND VACUUM ($0.00) and rotate tires ($16.95). That was a good deal. The service guy at the desk read my sheet back to me and I paid my bill. I noticed the car didn't look to clean on my way out to it and sure enough it had not been clean. Needless to say I was bummed, I'm normally the kind of guy that doesn't say anything when I get disappointed, but I went inside to inform the lady that it was not clean, but I was dropped off at lunch and I had to hurry back to work. I don't know if anything was said or done. I guess I could have called, but that just not me. It was just a free wash and vacuum so I guess I got what I paid for. So I'll spend my Saturday morning cleaning the car for my girl, but that's the last they will probably see of me because everybody knows if you complain about anything then you are the bad guy. We do love the car and will purchase another one from? Hyundai of New Bern BECAUSE THEY TOTALLY REDEEMED THEMSELVES. The service manager called me the next morning, apologized for the over site, and sent a gentleman 12 miles to my house to pick up the car, detail the car, and return it. The car looked great!!!!! My daughter got home that afternoon and loved her clean car now she is ready to leave for college. My son will graduate from high school in 3 years and with service like this I will only visit one place to make a purchase. In fact he has already told me what kind of car he wants. More

I love their service department and have never had a problem with them. On the other hand, In my humble opinion the new F&I guy is losing Mr Strickland Money! I offered a reasonable amount for a pre-own problem with them. On the other hand, In my humble opinion the new F&I guy is losing Mr Strickland Money! I offered a reasonable amount for a pre-owned vehicle to include the difference for my trade in. I researched this using many sources over the net. From my research, they would have made at least three to four thousand on the trade in plus the finance percentage for the new buyer. They would have made another three to four thousand plus the finance percentage for the loan on the vehicle I wanted to purchase! I asked them to prove me wrong, if they were going to lose money show me the invoice for the vehicle I wanted to purchase. I was told it doesn't matter what they paid, it's all about fair market value. If that were the case they would not have low (three thousands below market value) balled me on my trade in. Mr Strickland, I know you are running a business and not in the habit of giving away vehicles, but you might want to tell your F&I guy how much of a profit is enough. More
