Time to look for a newer car. Having the Rocker panel fall off and the water coming up thru the floor boards made it quit clear that our car's body was done! Never mind that it only had 153,000 miles on it and everything worked, AC,Radio, Heater, etc. A NEWER CAR WAS NEEDED. We went on the internet to see what was available in our price range, $ 10-12,000, less than 50,000 miles, good gas economy, and plenty of cargo space were the primary search criteria. We focused our search in the Niles and Dowagiac area and test drove 3 different models from Hatch Backs to sedans. We liked the Hatch Backs, good cargo capacity, good MPG, comfortable but a little cramped. Chuck suggested a New Car with a $ 5.000 rebate-- TOO MUCH MONEY!! IT WAS THAN SUGGESTED WE TAKE A LOOK AT A 2015 FUSION, a pretty car only 35,000 miles. This pushed our budget beyond our limit, further negotiations were required, a deal was struck and a purchase made.
