Fantastic Dealership CLYDE MAXWELL is an awesome sales consultant with Ford Lincoln of Franklin. Clyde was patient, knowledgeable and very helpful in my search for a car. CLYDE MAXWELL is an awesome sales consultant with Ford Lincoln of Franklin. Clyde was patient, knowledgeable and very helpful in my search for a car. At no time was I ever pressured or pushed in purchasing a vehicle. Clyde and Gary Sardynski worked together to locate the vehicle I wanted. After locating they had my car transferred to this location. I have purchased several cars in my lifetime and this is the ONLY dealership I could recommend. Everyone I worked with was wonderful and even the owner, Greg Brown stopped by and I could see how this dealership is the ONE and ONLY place to shop. This really helps our town Franklin stay at the top. Please even if you live a good distance from Franklin, you owe it to yourself to check it out. I only wished there was a TEN star rating because everyone at Ford Lincoln deserves it. LUV my new car. While searching for a truck for my business, I came across a Ford Ranger that this dealership had listed on Autotrader.com. The price had recently been reduced to $10,991.00, so I called to inquire ab across a Ford Ranger that this dealership had listed on Autotrader.com. The price had recently been reduced to $10,991.00, so I called to inquire about the price including taxes, fees, etc. I made it clear to Clyde that if we could agree on a price I felt was fair, I would arrive with a check in hand to get it that day. The truck had been there for just over 60 days so he said he was looking to get it off the lot right away. I felt like we were moving in the right direction at this point. He asked if he could call me back with a price after he had done some calculations. When I received a call back, it was from Matt. The price he gave me was $12,650.00. It seemed high so I told him I would call back shortly after giving it some thought. I then called the Williamson County clerk's office for the exact total on the sales taxes, local fees, etc. They were $849.37. The Davidson County clerk's office told me the fees to register the vehicle would be $131.75. That brings the total to $11,972.12. I called Matt and made a more than reasonable offer of $11,500.00, but he wouldn't even consider a price lower than $12,000.00. I told him that was not an agreeable price. That's when he told me it was going to auction on Wednesday because it had been on the lot so long, but he would rather sell it at a loss at auction than sell it to me for what I had offered. I thought that this was a very rude thing to say to a potential customer. He kept insisting that what's the dealership had in it even though the math didn't add up. Even when I confronted him about the difference between what I knew the total cost should be and what I had been told the price was, he kept saying that's what they had in it. Why would any dealership list a vehicle for a loss online? Quite frankly, this felt like nothing but a bait-and-switch. These jokers priced it low online to increase interest but tacked on $677.88 in additional fees to get more money out of a buyer. Not only did they lose what could have been a valuable business relationship (my business has purchased five vehicles in the last year), but I will make sure to mention this experience to anyone I know looking to purchase a vehicle. It's just dishonest - there's no two ways around it. I don't run my business dishonestly and I refuse to patronize any business that does operate this way. It paid off for me to walk away from this deal because I purchased a much nicer truck from a competitor for a very fair price. More

We just bought a new car from Franklin Ford. I usually go through the Costco dealership, but the Franklin Ford was cheaper than the Costco dealer. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would use them again through the Costco dealership, but the Franklin Ford was cheaper than the Costco dealer. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would use them again in a heartbeat. If you have any questions about the price they are so nice to answer each and every question. More

As a Nashville newcomer, I roamed the new car lot at Ford Lincoln of Franklin for nearly two years while my decade old Lincoln was serviced. Only Clyde came by every time to show and talk about the cars, bo Lincoln of Franklin for nearly two years while my decade old Lincoln was serviced. Only Clyde came by every time to show and talk about the cars, both Lincolns and Fords, and to learn about my preferences all of the time knowing that I wasn't interested in purchasing. When the time to purchase arrived, last month, I had Clyde's card and the experience of knowing how competent and knowledgeable he is about the autos of interest to me. His patience was a plus as was his thoughtfulness. He introduced me to the sales team and to Homer, the bright young techie! Marcus made the deal painless. Along with Clyde, In the forefront of all of my test drives, questions, indecisions, speculations and inability to act was Greg, who actually does answer the phone and answers questions, too. His support of the staff, the purchasers and his love of the cars and sales, is simply infectious! So I knew first hand of Clyde's competence and commitment to customer service, second only to Greg's. The Dealership's strong record of quality service, fairness and friendliness were pluses. Greg's price made the sale happen , My Sassy Ford Fusion and I may be counted among the very satisfied customers of Ford Lincoln of Franklin! Thank You All! Madeleine Hess More

Clyde was very helpful and nice to work with. He was always avaialble when I called in and had the right information immediately. Overall I noticed that the dealership itself seems to be old and needs a always avaialble when I called in and had the right information immediately. Overall I noticed that the dealership itself seems to be old and needs an overhaul. However, i believe a plan for this is in place as several posters indicated. The dealership did not have the chance to proof any customerserivce since we purchased a new car and that went fairly fast. I am looking forward to work with Ford of Franklin as they seem genuinely interested in giving me a great experience. More
