I purchased a certified pre-owned Cadillac XT4 with the expectation of reliability and a higher standard of service. Instead, this vehicle has had repeated major mechanical failures, including two transmi expectation of reliability and a higher standard of service. Instead, this vehicle has had repeated major mechanical failures, including two transmission replacements, suspension work, and a continuing rear-end issue that is now causing abnormal and premature tire wear. There are now problems with the dash turning on, OnStar and WiFi functionality. While the mechanical issues alone are concerning, the level of customer service has made the situation significantly worse. Communication has been inconsistent, promised callbacks have not happened, and I have had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic updates. More concerning is the shift in attitude from the service team. It has been made clear—directly or indirectly—that my vehicle returning for service is viewed as a frustration. Comments about how many times it has been back reflect a dismissive approach to a situation that I did not create. As I stated at the time, I am the one paying for a vehicle that has required repeated repairs far beyond what should ever be expected of a certified vehicle. At this point, I no longer feel that my concerns are being taken seriously. I have also not received clear communication or assistance regarding rental coverage under my extended warranty purchased through the dealership, I’m paying out of pocket for Lyft and Uber rides until I get an update from Service. This is no longer just a service inconvenience—it reflects a breakdown in both product reliability and customer care. A certified Cadillac vehicle should not experience repeated major component failures, and customers should not have to push this hard for basic communication and accountability. More

I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience with the service department at Lockhart Cadillac has been so consistently terrible that I feel obligated to warn others. I own a 2022 Cadillac that cos the service department at Lockhart Cadillac has been so consistently terrible that I feel obligated to warn others. I own a 2022 Cadillac that cost over $120,000, and in the past year alone, it has spent 96 days — and counting — in their shop across three separate visits. Every single time, I hear the exact same excuse: “We’re waiting on parts.” That was understandable in 2020. It is not acceptable in late 2025. Cadillac is somehow able to get all the parts they need to build brand-new vehicles, but according to this dealership, they can’t get parts to fix the vehicles they’ve already sold to loyal customers. My most recent visit has been the worst of all. My car has been at Lockhart since October 23, 2025, and as of today, it is still not repaired. I’ve been given five different promised completion dates, and every one of them has passed with zero communication from the service department. I’ve had to call in myself for every update, only to hear the same story repeated over and over. The advisor assigned to my vehicle has given me multiple dates that never happened. There is absolutely no accountability, no transparency, and no urgency when it comes to customers who need their vehicle serviced. For a brand that markets “luxury service” and “premium ownership experience,” this dealership delivers neither. I do not recommend this service department, and at this point, I cannot recommend Cadillac as a brand either. If you value communication, reliability, or timely repairs, look elsewhere. More
