They then cashed both checks, over charging me by 18 thousand dollars, and asked me to run around town doing their leg work to get a refund. After multiple visits back to the dealer I was given a refund, which the general manager acted like he was doing me a big favor handing me back a check for the amount they had overcharged me for and not offering me a single thing to compensate for the fact I had to come into the dealership 4 times and taken time off work to solve their mistakes. More

Wonderful experience working with Connor and Todd! They had the vehicles clean and ready, and they were so patient and accommodating figuring out the best option for a nontraditional purchase situation. Forced to update my initial review of this dealership due to staff creating multiple issues that have taken weeks to resolve. The finance representative I worked with failed to ask for a signature on an anci to staff creating multiple issues that have taken weeks to resolve. The finance representative I worked with failed to ask for a signature on an ancillary product I opted into which caused a delay with funding. I had to drive back to the dealership to sign this document two days after I purchased the vehicle. However, the representative did not realize that he also failed to document the ancillary product on my retail installment contract and also did not ask for a signature - so information was missed twice and was not identified until I called in 8 days before my temporary registration expired. The representative's name is Simon and he is not updated in DealerRater's system for me to give him a 1 star rating. I took the vehicle in before the temp reg expired to have some concerns addressed and provided the second document they missed after receiving it in the mail. It took the team an additional three days to submit the deal for funding. I purchased my vehicle on 1/30/21; the temporary registration expired 2/21/21; the team is now blaming the DMV for an error that has resulted in me STILL not having plates. The vehicle has sat at the dealership for a full week now after I had to take time off of work multiple times to address the issue. Management states they will call back with updates - and do not call. I have repeatedly had to follow-up . Had I not inquired about the plates I told were good to go, they would have been wrong and I would have had more money to be paid out of pocket. So far, the only thing the dealership has offered to correct the issue is pay for the rental vehicle that was required. However, I was told to come get a rental and while I was driving to the dealership, I received a call that they had no rental vehicles and to not come in - but the temporary registration expired that next day and they still needed a form to fund the deal. The communication from the dealership has been abysmal and the team members of varying departments can never get on the same page. The General Manager was dealing with the matter for a short period of time but, once a different manager returned from vacation, he passed me off to him. Nothing but misinformation, miscommunication, and blatant issues - they never even told my sales rep what was going on and she was unavailable from the day after I bought the car until the end of February when I called desperate for someone to speak to me. The Sales Manager I was handed off to is Humberto and he, too, is not available for a review in Dealerrater's system. For a dealership that seemed to be so friendly and helpful at the buying stage, their true colors showed after the dust settled. You almost want to be an advocate for the dealership because they seem to always want to do the right thing but are not able to actually do it. Jason G in the service department has been nothing but helpful and informative each time I have been in. He is the sole highlight of this dealership with Mary K and Connor D also being helpful when they are present and aware of matters. After an initial very positive experience, I do not anticipate returning to this dealership. This situation should be made right and it shouldn't just be: giving me the plates/reg and properly funding the loan that I financed and am paying for. The dealership should be working for you, not against you and they should be more knowledgeable than their customers on subject matters they are supposed to be experts in. More

So so helpful! I purchased a car at the Luther VW in Rochester. Ended up not liking the model, and the Brookdale location completely took care of me. They even returned the car I bought to Rochester so Rochester. Ended up not liking the model, and the Brookdale location completely took care of me. First time buyer of a VW . Extremely disappointing experience from the first sales reps. Three times I was told this vehicle had new tires and a new battery. I did not appreciate being lied to.
