We lost our beloved existing Jetta the previous evening as it was totaled in a fire. Still in a bit of a shock, we dreaded the process of finding a replacement but we were lucky to find our perfect, like- as it was totaled in a fire. Still in a bit of a shock, we dreaded the process of finding a replacement but we were lucky to find our perfect, like-new 2023 Certified Jetta on the AutoTrader website and headed right to Danbury. We were viewing the car on the lot and Derek came right out to introduce himself and immediately got the keys so we could check out the interior and take us out on a test drive. Although we were very familiar with various Jetta models, Derek explained the different features of this model and although we were already sold, he graciously showed us other similar models on the lot just in case. Explained the differences without any games and "upselling," helping us make an informed decision. Showroom was spotless, and pleasant. Website pricing was fair and accurate, photos were numerous and description useful. Discussions of pricing, financing, and extended warranties were friendly and professional, with zero typical "used car salesman" games. The dreaded "dealer fees" were thoroughly explained and clearly posted in the showroom so you knew what you were dealing with from the minute you stepped into the building. Reception, finance, and managerial staff were all friendly and professional, making us feel like a welcome customer as opposed to other places where you can feel like a target or an inconvenience. They went over the sales contract section by section making sure we understood everything and answered all our questions. We asked if we could take home the car the same day since we didn't want to deal with rentals and since it was already on the lot in pristine condition and fully inspected all they had to do was give it a final check, put on the plates, and we were out the door in about two hours. But the star of this show was Derek who really knows how to sell a car and treat a customer. Highly recommended. More
