What do you think of when you think of the term 'bespoke'? Our lease on our 2019 Levante was at least a year out when we started discussing our options with Brandan in sales. We have traditi 'bespoke'? Our lease on our 2019 Levante was at least a year out when we started discussing our options with Brandan in sales. We have traditionally leased all of our vehicles but we were open to purchase as Covid slowed our business and changed our vision. Still, so far out was too many extra payments to roll forward. We started by designing our own new Levante on the web based builder but it always kicked out many of the options we preferred when I would click on the blackout package. It turns out I was using the 2021 build your own app and it was locked into certain combos. I sent the specs to Brandan and he said he would take a look. That was months ago. Fast forward 8 months and I get a text from Brandan saying they had some new inventory we should come in and take a look at. We were out of town at the time. Not thinking much of it, I committed to stopping by a week later when we were back in town. We showed up after lunch the day we got back and Brandan was waiting for us. Mind you, to this point, he had merely invited us in to look at inventory. As most dealerships today, there wasn't much left on the lot to purview. There was however a sexy new Levante in the showroom. My wife went in first and when I heard her exclaim 'that is a gorgeous Levante', I had to follow. That is a rare comment from her. We have always been partial to the classic black with red calipers and red stitching but those are becoming too plentiful lately and any Maserati (not black) that got a gorgeous rating from her was a huge step. Needless to say, the sexy grigio beast with black out package and all the options we would love was staring back at us. After 20 minutes of ogling Brandan finally let fly that he had spec'd and ordered this vehicle based on the specs I had sent him months before. He did this without requesting any commitment on our part and literally surprised us with our vision brought to life in a 2022 Levante Modena. Higher HP, all the best bells and whistles, and an epic trim package...all based on our dream specs. We bought the car-no fuss, no muss- and in 30 minutes we were driving home. For perspective, Brandan ordered our dream car at a fortuitous time considering that Italy had just opened back up and by the time we received it the world, including Maserati, was running short on parts so production and shipping was spinning into gridlock. Our Modena may very well be one of relatively few US models produced this year and even fewer with comparable specs, if any. We have been customers of Maserati JAX working with TJ since before they had built their new showroom. We will be customers for life. What do you think of when you think of the term 'bespoke'? As you can imagine, our perception of bespoke has expanded exponentially. Saluti! More
