Lucky find when we needed a dealer on the road While traveling to Florida from Virginia on 3/19/14; we noticed a bubble on our left front tire sidewall. Fearing a blowout, we tried to find a deale While traveling to Florida from Virginia on 3/19/14; we noticed a bubble on our left front tire sidewall. Fearing a blowout, we tried to find a dealer around Jacksonville where we were staying for 1 night on our way to Hernando. No one in Jax could see us for days. Since we were heading towards Ocala, we made calls to dealers in that area and found VW of Ocala who could see us right away. Danny Schlenker was our Service Consultant and took exceptional care of us. Our car is a Jetta GLI so it has special tires that we weren't expecting to be in stock, which would have meant ordering one and making another trip to Ocala when it arrived. Danny pointed out that they had a set of such tires on display and - if we were ok - they could use one of them. Thanks to Danny (and his negotiating with the Parts Manager), the tire was replaced immediately and we were on our way. We are very grateful and highly recommend Danny and this dealer More

I went with transmission problems, still had warranty with 49.000 miles. they would not fix the problem. said they found no fault in the transmission, they suggested transmission oil change, which very e with 49.000 miles. they would not fix the problem. said they found no fault in the transmission, they suggested transmission oil change, which very expensive, I paid for that service, and the transmission did not fix, I came back again and they said no problem found . they donot to fix the car, the manager assure the warranty for transmission was until 36,000 when the car has warranty until 50,000, service deparment said mr. henriquez we want to do business, we want to find a failure to do business with you, that was the answer. when I had warranty. I had to get my car from there because they not called me to givme a solution or givme a date to pick up the car, today I drive the car and I can feel the transmission problem immediately. I dont know how to take this, if such discrimination or unprofessional service. but I do not want a volkswagen again in my life and do not recommend it, in especial I donot recommend this location. also, the fuse of the horn dont was in the car after I picked up the car the first time. (I use the horn every day with my kids int he time to go the school) More

I recently purchased a new 2013 VW Beetle TDI. I was driving a VW that was leased and paying too much. Gloria, Mike, and Jack worked very hard to put me in the car I really wanted with the features I wa driving a VW that was leased and paying too much. Gloria, Mike, and Jack worked very hard to put me in the car I really wanted with the features I wanted. I am an "old" lady of 70 with a young at heart spirit and I have always liked Beetles. When I went to VW of Ocala, they made me feel as if I were the only purchaser in the facility. They listened to what I had to say and to what I was looking for in a vehicle. Once I selected my vehicle Mike worked very hard to get my loan approved. Once that was done I went to see Jack and signed all of the papers. Danny from Service came over and congratulated me on my new Beetle since he was aware of my love of Beetles. I have purchased a number of vehicles in my life and the experience at VW of Ocala has been the most pleasant of all. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. More

I had the best experience buying a car ever with Gloria at Ocala VW. Even later, when I needed assistance after I purchased my car Gloria, Danny, and Sales manager Michael were all awesome. My experience at Volkswagen of Ocala was very pleasant. Danny Schlenker was very pleasant and professional. He took the extra time explaining in detail the work that was done on my car. The dealership is clean. Nice waiting room with a TV. Refreshments were available. The sales staff are very pleasant and professional. I have been to other dealerships in which upon driving onto thier parking lot,the salesmen were like vultures. I couldn't even get out of my car without having 2 to 4 salesmen hounding me. They would continue to follow me around even when I told them I was just looking. I fell for the trick when they asked for my car keys so they can have the manager look at my car for a trade in. The salesman said he would be right out and let me know how much the trade in value would be. He didn't come out. Upon asking for my car keys the salesman continued to tell me the manager would be right out. This was very frustrating. They were holding me hostage. Finally I got very angry and demanded they give my keys back. Upon leaving I was so mad I vowed to let all my friends know about my experience, in which I did. Needless to say this dealership is no longer in business. It was a very large dealership here in Ocala. My experience at Volkswagen of Ocala was totally different. The saleman greeted me. Asked me what kind of car I was interested in. He showed me around. Explained the benefits of each vehicle I looked at. Then he gave me some breathing room. When I decided on which car I might be interested in, we went for a test drive. He exlained and showed me all the benefits of this car. Upon returning to the dealership I decided on buying the car. The finance department was wonderful. They got a good interest rate for me. I was totally pleased with my experience. It was a pleasant and relaxed. I didn't feel pressured. I will and have told all my friends and family about Volkswagen of Ocala. I love my Volkswagen Rabbit. It is definetly Kicking some Asphalt !! More
