It seems I cannot say enough about Darin, my salesman. I am really impressed with the follow-through he offers me. Not only was he great during the purchase, but he contacted me 3-4 weeks later to see if I am really impressed with the follow-through he offers me. Not only was he great during the purchase, but he contacted me 3-4 weeks later to see if I was becoming familiar with all the wonderful options on my new RAV4. On his day off, after dropping off his children at school, he came by my apartment building and we sat in the parking lot for an hour and a half reviewing and learning about this marvelous machine. I would highly recommend Inver Grove Toyota, toyotas in general, and while he is the only sales associate I know there, Darin is absolutely fabulous. You couldn't go wrong. with Toyota, RAV4s, Darin, or Inver Grove Toyota. I am very pleased with my new vehicle. More

I have not shared my new car with many but am just thrilled to be the owner of a brand new dark blue RAV4. Inver Grove Toyota has been great. I felt they were there for the customer. Darin Wald, my salesperson was incredible. He was there for me and still is. He is very personable and professional. When I wanted a color, not on the lot, he found one for me-just what I wanted, and in very short time. I suspect this will be the last car I ever buy, but if I change my mind, (or live forever, lol) Darin will be the one I contact. The picture you see of us is him and I in front of the car, at my apartment building. He came over to help get me through some of the technology. Used car salesman D. set up a test drive/visit with me at 2:30 pm on 1/18/21 to review couple of $30,000 vehicles. I arrived promptly at 2:30 and had receptionist page him. 10 minutes, passed, she paged him 2:30 pm on 1/18/21 to review couple of $30,000 vehicles. I arrived promptly at 2:30 and had receptionist page him. 10 minutes, passed, she paged him again. another 10 minutes, in which 2 other guys asked if I need help, I said waiting for D. oh, he will be up in a couple minutes. I stand up front for 25 minutes, getting very hot, yes place is busy, but no text, no call, no check in, no substitute sent by D. At 2:55 D. shows up, introduces himself, no apology, I mention 2:30 appt set by him,- Oh "got chatting with a customer, my apologies" Gets me keys, I mention taillight busted in vehicle #1 as we approach it, Directly below broken taillight is small dent in bumper, with touch up paint on it, I point dent out, he looks and says must of been done in lot, likely light on order, strange, coincidence, this guy full of BS or knows less than I do about cars? I complete test drive and walk over to where D. is sitting with another customer, and ask for another test drive with vehicle #2. He pulls it up to door and returns to customer quickly. I drive off, leaving lot, ALERT warning comes on, NO KEY DETECTED (push button start- idiot pocketed the keys) Means vehicle is going to stall out as I get on highway at 20F outside, leaving me stranded. He does this stuff for a living? I quickly swing back into lot, park vehicle, leave in disgust. I got 1 sentence out of D. regarding model I was interested in, and about 4 minutes of his precious time when he set up the meeting. Treatment I received is not professional, respectful, or indicates a high quality place. And I want to give them $30,000 of my hard earned green backs? I did call used car sales manager C. and related my experience to help them improve, and he agreed unacceptable to leave me hang for 25 minutes without notice, apologized for treatment, said would address it. That was good, maybe they improve, but will take my business elsewhere as appears management allows that type of behavior in its employees, otherwise D. would not be working there. Perhaps a one off experience, but not a good experience in my case. Will spend my money elsewhere, you make your call. More
