Daryl was pleasant to work with and seemed like a decent, honest, & up-front guy, plus the vehicle base price was very good (had been looking at this make/model/trim for some time). That said, the "Protection Package" for used vehicle purchases wasn't something I wanted but was required to buy; some back & forth to get more for my trade than originally offered helped mitigate most of the cost, but doesn't change the fact that it's basically a fee that costs them next to nothing but provides the dealership with a ridiculous markup. This is one of the reasons why so many people dislike going to dealerships and do their best to avoid them. Oh well, it is what it is; overall I'm pleased with the vehicle and hopefully won't need to go back to a dealer for years! More
