Knowlegeable Technicians, and Customer Service staff 2009 Elantra was brought in for wheel damage after hitting a curb. The inspection also found that the front and especially the rear brakes needed to b 2009 Elantra was brought in for wheel damage after hitting a curb. The inspection also found that the front and especially the rear brakes needed to be serviced as well. So glad that this was found and addressed. The work was done in the time that was stated and a rental car was provided for the time needed to complete the work. We bought our car used through a private party two years ago and have used this dealership since then and will most likely continue to do so. We have been very satisfied with the service. More

Repair to Hyundai Sonata We bought a used Sonata a couple of weeks ago for my son. Last week the engine light came on, needless to say, my son was frantic since he had no money, at this point, for any kind repair. I came in to the dealership and spoke to Joshua Thomes (our salesman) about the issue. He said that if there was any oversight in the original inspection of the vehicle, Luther will do its best to accommodate the customer. Josh introduced us to Dave Boogren, the Service Drive Manager who was very friendly and understanding. Needless to say, the issue was addressed and the vehicle was fixed without any cost to us. My son ended up calling his friends telling them how wonderful it was to get the car fixed and that he is very glad we purchased the vehicle from Luther.! you made him a believer...... Service Center: Untruthful Don't stand behind their word My 2011 Sonata had an engine explode several months ago and the dealer replaced it under recall. I asked if they put new spark plugs in the motor as My 2011 Sonata had an engine explode several months ago and the dealer replaced it under recall. I asked if they put new spark plugs in the motor as it was compromised when the connecting rod shot out of the block. I was told that yes, new plugs are included with the new motor over the phone by the service representative. Fast forward to last Friday when a fuel injector went out and needed replaced. I was told I need to get new spark plugs. I told the representative no, you put new ones in several months ago with the new motor. The represented said no we did not. They referred me to the service manager. The service manager said she would put new ones in for $88 (so free labor). I said I need to talk to her supervisor or Hyundai because I was told new ones were put in. She said her supervisor cannot be contacted and that I need to call consumer affairs this is all they are going to do for me. I told her I will get new plugs somewhere else, don't care about the money, it is just that I was lied to and you are not even willing to make the situation right over $88. I also promised to leave feedback on the internet as I am doing now. I liked Luther and Hyundai until now, even after my engine failed on a busy interstate. I cannot believe you cannot talk to a service manager's supervisor or to Hyundai. I also cannot believe that Luther corporate does not have a phone number, I had to write a message on their website. My advise if you go here: Be cautious and get everything said by them in writing. Don't take anyone's word over the phone especially. Dave, who I worked with was nice and fair-he referred me to his manager, this is where the frustration occurred. Also watch their free many point inspections, they don't do them. I was told three weeks before this event on last Friday when I had a starter repaired that all my lights were inspected and are functional. I told Jamie, no they are not, I know this and I showed him that a fog light was out. Not a big deal, just another example of them not doing work that they say they did. More

Good Service Experience First time at this location. My car was misfiring and I was able to fix the issue myself by replacing a few parts. Because my car was misfiring, it contaminated the oil. I decided to get my car's oil changed and made an appointment with Bloomington Hyundai. I booked the appointment online, ran 10mins late to my appointment, but they were still able to take me in and perform the oil change and washed my car. Price of the oil change was a bit higher than other Hyundai locations, but its pretty expected with the area. While waiting, there were complimentary snacks, coffee, and water to enjoy. I was out in 45mins, and everyone treated me nicely. More

Happy With My Decision After a 20-year relationship with a local Honda dealership, I did decide to lease a new Hyundai Kona Limited through Luther Bloomington Hyundai. I love this car! I was looking for tech features, an AWD vehicle that wasn't too big and a fun, sporty vehicle that's different. My salesperson Josh T. was extremely helpful in helping me choose the right vehicle. All the staff I met were professional, friendly and informative. This also confirms the power of good advertising dollars spent by Hyundai (saw national ad on TV about coming in for a test drive) and also hearing Luther Hyundai advertising on KFAN. It worked! More
