The vehicle I purchased is exactly what I wanted. I found two jeeps and gave them the stock #’s and made an appointment. I was expecting at my arrival both vehicles I had requested to view would be p I found two jeeps and gave them the stock #’s and made an appointment. I was expecting at my arrival both vehicles I had requested to view would be pulled up front waiting for me as they told me they were both in stock. This was not the case upon arrival, I was told one was sold but they had the other one I had expressed interest in. That would’ve been nice to know as I drove 70 miles from home to visit this dealer. The salesman I made my appointment with wasn’t available when I arrived so I had to work with someone else. He was nice enough once I received an approval but initially he came off as condescending and didn’t pay much mind to what I was saying to him, he wasn’t listening to my wants and needs. I told him if I couldn’t have one of the two I expressed interest in I would walk. He kept trying to show me other vehicles that I didn’t want. I told him the exact features it needed to have and he continued to show me vehicles I had no interest in. After fighting back and forth he finally agreed to let me test drive the one I wanted. The test drive went as good as it could have minus a small mechanical issue on the vehicle, it jerked so hard at a stoplight my partner and I as well as the salesman thought the vehicle was rear ended. I mentioned I was weary about purchasing the jeep at that moment but he brushed it off and never addressed it again. I ended up going for the vehicle anyways and the rest was a fairly smooth process. Once in the finance office I was hammered on purchasing their extras… Gap, roadside, additional warranty etc. I stated over and over again I did not want any extras added on and the finance guy continued to push the extras as hard as he could. I almost stood up and walked away at that point it made me so uncomfortable. When I say no, my answer should be taken as such. Almost lost a sale if he would’ve gone any further. Once he took off all the extras my payment ended up being almost $100 less than what I thought I was going to be paying. Seems to me they quote car payment including extras from the beginning which is not cool. Quote me the monthly price minus the add ons in the beginning please. The dealership explicitly told me not to complete the review if I couldn’t give superb ratings in all areas. I didn’t see that as being fair as my opinion should matter even if it’s not what they wanted. Overall would I purchase here again and did they treat me as well as they could? Yes they did, however do they still have room to improve? Yes they do. More
