I was with southern Kia for about 10 years. Southern Kia at Lynnhaven has always given off bad customer service but I wouldn’t have known of course until after I purchased my vehicle which I ha Southern Kia at Lynnhaven has always given off bad customer service but I wouldn’t have known of course until after I purchased my vehicle which I have been getting my oil changes and inspections through southern the whole time having my vehicle. Today for the first time after 10 years I was told by Stephanie Alston which was very rude and unprofessional that my services were canceled . As I was trying to get clarity of why now after all this time, she spoke down on me about not getting simple services done through Kia and instead getting them done elsewhere. when I was asking her questions about my warranty to clarify and also Dave the manager picked up the call which also was very rude and blunt, both of them took the situation of a misunderstanding of which they were stating I took advantage of “free” services but haven’t paid anything in a long time to the dealership. I was never informed that money has to come out of pocket only with Kia to consider having my services continued for what they call “southern hospitality” (oil changes and inspections) and always kept my vehicle up but due to the lack of employees they have, their services offered during the week didn’t help someone who travels a hour out everyday to work. If I would’ve been informed that my services were being cancelled for something so small after 10 years of the same services, I would’ve reconciled then a resolution to keep everything up. I use to speak highly of having my Kia vehicle despite the customer service And was buying another vehicle through Kia due to my car being paid off the last 5 years but it is not worth the people you have to deal with and the worry of them doing something to your vehicle when being forced to come out of pocket as if you didn’t already invest your funds into buying their product. I highly wouldn’t recommend having to deal with these nasty individuals and never did I raise my voice or was rude, calls are monitored and recorded and their manager Dave hung up on me because I was asking specific questions about my warranty. They do not treat you in this manner while you’re making payments on the vehicle or trying to purchase! I would never invest my funds in a place like this again! That’s probably why they do not keep mechanics long enough and services are inconveniently scheduled during the week and no weekends which is not the customer fault or told while purchasing. More

Service department was very unreliable. I had a 8am appt. They never called me back to let me know what was going on. I had to call off from work and I went to the dealership to hear the te I had a 8am appt. They never called me back to let me know what was going on. I had to call off from work and I went to the dealership to hear the technician left for the day and didn't leave any notes. I kept getting the run around and they ended up keeping my vehicle for 4 days. And if I hadn't sent my husband up there Monday I wouldn't have known my vehicle was ready cause no one reached out to me to let me know. This is not the first time I have tried to give them another chance.. Twice I went for a oil change and was in there for over 3hrs waiting. Not to mention they didn't even have a rental car available for me the whole time . YOU have to understand that the customer can only go off what you tell them, so don't get mad when we come in with an attitude it's cause you lied to us. More
