David Martinez was the sales associate that helped us out. He was friendly and knowlegable and definitely not the "pushy car salesman" type. We decided to shop around and test drove other Jeeps at multiple dealers and just weren't satisfied. I felt that Bettenhausen/Ram Dodge was just a trustworthy dealer. David Martinez was was there to answer all of our questions and gave us the "space" that we needed to make our decision. I feel that David went the extra mile by putting an affordable finance package together for us. We love our new Jeep and would highly recommend using Bettenhausen and David Martinez! More

I wasn't being bounced around from person to person to secure financing. I appreciated the negotiating process on the trade in value of my vehicle. Dave didn't play the sales game of making me wait while he spoke to the person in charge of appraising my vehicle. Obtaining financing was simple and efficient. I never left Dave's desk as he explained the financing options. The interest rate was great and the terms options were flexible. I would strongly encourage people to contact Dave and Bettenhausen for any vehicle needs. I've never used Bettenhausen before. He said he was looking at used cars and the salesman said to take it home, show your wife and kids and bring it back tonight. Now that was the good-o-days. Can you imagine that happening now a days? Well step back in time because that's exactly what happened here at Bettenhausen Dodge in Tinley Park. I asked to look at a used 2011 Chrysler Town and Country and the salesman (David Martinez) asked me if I would like to take it for a test drive and I said yes. He got the key and handed it to me and said take it around and see what you think. I stood there looking at him and ask, Are you coming along? He said no. Well that was a shocker. So I took the van and drove around at the most probably 5 miles and brought it back. I walked be inside and spotted Dave and he said "your back already"? It just felt weird. So I told him that I liked it and would like to put a hold on it but would like to come by with my wife. So now it is Saturday mid morning and but my wife had to do some stuff with my daughter that day so she couldn't make it. Dave told me "take it home and show your with". Now I'm thinking to myself, I live all the way in Park Forest and I'm going to be out for probably an hour and Dave knows where I live so I said, are you sure? So I said OK? I went home hoping that my wife might still be there but she wasn't so I brought the van back. Again I found Dave and he asked "so what did she think"? I told him that she wasn't home so now he tells me, "take it home and bring it back like 5:00 or 6:00. ??????? Now I'm blown away. I said, "are you sure????? he said it was fine and that he wanted my wife to see it. Today I have a new (used) Town and Country and have found a dealership that is truly amazing. This dealership is like stepping into a time machine. More

Great Experience! A few days ago I requested an online price from Bettenhausen for a particular Dodge Grand Caravan that was listed in their new vehicle inventory. Ale A few days ago I requested an online price from Bettenhausen for a particular Dodge Grand Caravan that was listed in their new vehicle inventory. Alec Bettenhausen e-mailed me back right away to let me know I would initially work with Amy Pattenaude. Amy gave me a price quote on two specific Grand Caravans in stock. The prices were very competitive and better than the other dealerships in the area. Amy and I then spoke over the phone and she was very friendly and helpful. She set up an appointment for me to come in and see the vehicles. The Sales Manager, David Martinez, called me to confirm the appointment and let me know they would have the vehicles ready to test drive. The vehicles were ready and waiting for us to drive. David let us drive the vehicles without him being in the car, so that we wouldn't feel overwhelmed with him being there. We drove an SXT and an RT Grand Caravan. We decided to purchase the SXT and worked with David on price, financing, trade in, etc. He was our sole contact and handled every aspect of the purchase himself, which was very refreshing than the normal car buying experience. David made the experience a great one and we were very happy we decided to buy at Bettenhausen. I would definitely recommend Bettenhausen and David Martinez. More
