As a first time car buyer, I was left confused and frustrated with the service here. I really wanted the car, so I stuck it out, but I worked with two men, one who was nice enough but didn’t explain the entire process in full, just as it was happening. and the other who pushed too hard to upgrade my package while he proceeded to tell me his life story and interrupted me when I tried to talk. I was happy when it was all over and I had the keys in hand because the process was awful. More

Pleasant experience from the first phone call, all the way through price negotiation and financing. They were the last dealership I visited when trying to track down a specific color/trim combination, so way through price negotiation and financing. They were the last dealership I visited when trying to track down a specific color/trim combination, so I already had a good sense of where the pricing should fall. Their initial offer was competitive, but I showed paperwork for the best offer I had received so far, and they beat it within two minutes (no extended waiting while the "manager in the back" decided). I worked with Chris Ryan from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, including my initial email inquiries, phone calls, and ultimately staying on top of my insurance company when they had issues sending over the necessary paperwork. David Spellman in financing was also a pleasure to work with. I always dread those conversations because they try to sell you on everything. David simply presented the options and pricing, but totally respected my wish to decline all extras - preferring to do some research on my own before deciding. I've had a number of car buying experiences in my lifetime, and this was by far the best. I've already been back once for an inspection at the service department and even purchased a new trunk mat through the parts department (and their price was better than amazon!). I definitely plan to keep up the relationship with Coastal, and I love my new Tiguan! More
