In April of 2025 I purchased a Panamera from Champion Porsche. My initial salesman was Mr.Jim Pappas who was very knowledgeable and competent. After agreeing on a price, I put a deposit on the vehicle. M Porsche. My initial salesman was Mr.Jim Pappas who was very knowledgeable and competent. After agreeing on a price, I put a deposit on the vehicle. Mr. Pappas advised me that he was going on vacation and I would be in contact with one Mr. Madera until he returned. Three days after the deposit I received the contract. It was then and only then, that I saw the PRE-DELIVERY fee of 899 dollars. When I questioned the fee and what I was going to receive for this, Mr. Madeira couldn’t support the fee with anything of substance. He reiterated that everyone pays the fee even employees and I could take the vehicle or leave it. He also advised me that this fee is not considered to be illegal in the state of Florida. I am a NY resident and generally purchase my Porsche vehicles in NY State where the fee never has exceeded 175 dollars. I know after consulting an attorney that non disclosure of this fee at time of deposit is considered to be an unfair, deceptive practice which is illegal in Florida. He was extremely rude and that is because this fee is nothing but a “Money Grab” by the dealer. When Mr. Pappas returned from vacation I proceeded with the final paperwork as I was set on this vehicle. I arrived in Florida from NY and picked up the vehicle. I was and am not happy with paying for something that is not realized as well as being advised of a fee that wasn’t disclosed upfront. It was a pleasure dealing with Mr. Pappas as he is professional and passionate about the brand and this is reflected in his demeanor with his clients. I would suggest that Mr. Madeira take a lesson from Mr. Pappas who is a huge asset to Champion Porsche. On the flip side, Mr. Madera completely turned me off to CHAMPION PORSCHE. I would tell anyone in our NY Metro PCA and Long Island Porsche group to stay clear of arrogant salesman like him. More
