Bought a 'certified' used Jaguar from them. The finance guy forced the extended warranty in the transaction, stating it was *required* and *not* optional. After arguing with the GSM and explain The finance guy forced the extended warranty in the transaction, stating it was *required* and *not* optional. After arguing with the GSM and explaining to him how this is 100% illegal practice, they agreed to rewrite the contract excluding this extended warranty. But this wasn't the end of the fiasco. Brakes stopped working on the vehicle within the first day. Called them up and they said they're not equipped to work on EV's (yet they sell them) and that to take the car to Jaguar dealership. They didn't offer me a loaner nor did they offer to coordinate the repairs with Jaguar. But the GSM did tell me on the phone they will pay for any repairs Jaguar performs. Jaguar has completed repairs, which they stated the brake malfunction was a result of a RAT INFESTATION in the car under the hood. So, this whole time Infiniti of San Jose had this car on their lot, they never once bothered to look under the hood compartments to check for anything , they would've seen the rats nest had they performed a thorough inspection of the car they were selling. Now Jaguar sent me the invoice which I sent to SJ Infiniti and they are refusing to pay for it. They are citing there's no written agreement that states they would pay for the repairs, even though the GSM told me over the phone they would. They are using any excuse to get out of having to pay for repairs that came out of poor inspection/vehicle storage while it was on their lot. They sold me the bubonic plagued car, failing brakes and all, told me they're not equipped nor have the techs to work on EVs but they'd pay for the repairs from the manufacturer dealership yet are now backing out, stating they never authorized the repairs. Avoid Infiniti of San Jose like the bubonic plague that they are offering in their used vehicles, which they are not equipped to check and work on. False promises of repair comps, and illegal transactional practices should be on every consumer's radars if they're even considering this rat infested dealership. More

SEE ORIGINAL REVIEW FOR THE WHOLE STORY UPDATE: Dennis, the sales manager reached out on Friday, April 28th. We had a long conversation and he promised that the service we received was unusual for Dennis, the sales manager reached out on Friday, April 28th. We had a long conversation and he promised that the service we received was unusual for your dealership and that he would do what was necessary to make it right. Dennis promised to reach out to my girlfriend after we spoke so that he could get the vehicle picked up from her work, have it detailed and prepped for proper delivery (remove id stickers and plastic linings), and fill up the fuel tank. He also promised to give us a 2nd detail and a 2nd fuel tank to be used later to make up for the poor purchase experience. I told him that if they could do that, I would then revise my review and would feel much better about how we were treated. However, Dennis never called. We called him a few days later but he did not answer. I left a voicemail and texted him, but still no response. So today, I called the dealer and found out that he is actually on vacation. At this point, I am speechless. How could they ask me for my trust and ask for the opportunity to make things right, which I gave them, and then turn around and blow it so badly. It feels like we are completely worthless to this company as clients, well outside of the $35k we gave them already of course. We've already had to take the car to the car wash (she couldn't even see out of the windows it was so dirty), and obviously had to fill the tank ourselves, we couldn't just keep it on empty forever for them to fill it, though we tried to keep it low for a few days which was even more incovenient. Then we realized no one was coming. So now not only was this experience extremely disappointing, but now it has also become inconvenient and has affected us financially. ALSO: Forward Collision Warning System Malfunction light has been coming on intermittently since first day we drove the vehicle. Dennis said he would also take care of this. But again, we haven't heard from him since. More
