First BMW purchase I have wanted a BMW since I started driving nearly 25 years ago. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a BMW that I’ve not liked the style of...they are just g I have wanted a BMW since I started driving nearly 25 years ago. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a BMW that I’ve not liked the style of...they are just gorgeously desinged cars. My son recently turned 16 and started driving, so my wife & I were looking to add a vehicle to our household, which made for the perfect opportunity to finally purchase my first BMW. My preference is to purchase pre-owned, low mileage vehicles, so I searched daily for over 2 months looking for the exact car I wanted. That search for a 2015 335xi CPO w/M Sport package in mineral gray with low miles brought me to Thompson BMW. I had inquired about the car online New Years Day (holiday). Two days later Thompson BMW called my cell#, however I was in a meeting. After not returning the call, Michael Massa (Internet Manager) followed up 2 days later on a Saturday afternoon. I said I was still interested and Michael confirmed the car was still available. Micheal immediately connected me with Dennis Bridges (Client Advisor) and between the two of them they arranged a test drive. I jumped in the car and drove 2.5 hours to test drive the car. Dennis had the car prepped and ready as soon as I arrived (30 mins before they closed), Michael photocopied my license while Dennis and I took the car out. The test drive Dennis took me on was great; good mix of twisty backroads and expressway so I could really get a good feel for the car. The dealership ended up staying open more than 30 mins late as Dennis and I reviewed numbers. I took the rest of the weekend to think about it, and Dennis followed up with me on Monday morning. We came to an agreement over the phone and I secured the car with a CC. Dennis ran the paperwork (including finanacing through BMW) and sent it via email so they could perform all the processing in advance of my coming back to take delivery. When I came back the following Saturday to take delivery, Dennis had everything ready to go. I signed papers with Finanace while Dennis tagged the car and within 30mins we were done. Dennis then took the time to review the car with my wife and I, setting up my phone, explaining how all the internal controls including iDrive worked to get us started. Dennis was extremely personable, patient, and very attentive to what we needed. The local car came off a factory lease with only 27k miles and was absolutely immaculant. I spent a few thousand more than I originally planned, however the price and the car were incredible, so it was well worth it. Knowing that I was spending a little more than I had originally planned, Dennis threw in new all weather floor mats and a gift card for the Service Dept. store. All in all, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend the team at Thompson BMW if you are in the market for a new or used BMW. More
