I had a very up and down experience with this dealership. I ended up buying a used truck from them and trading in my leased Hyundai. The buying process was seamless and Derrick Snell was easy to work with. T I ended up buying a used truck from them and trading in my leased Hyundai. The buying process was seamless and Derrick Snell was easy to work with. Things started to go downhill when it was time for me to pick up my new truck. The office and paperwork side of things was easy and competed very quick. However the truck took close to two hours to detail. I understand that the dealership wants to make sure the vehicle is perfect when it’s delivered but I made the deal on 9/12 and picked up on 9/19. They had a full week to detail it. I know part of the issue can be blamed on the dealership having an all staff meeting, on a Tuesday, around 2pm, where the owner brought all staff into the service area and proceeded to address everyone. I’m all for motivating staff and calling meetings, but doing it in the middle of the day, when you have waiting customers is unprofessional and a very bad look. Eventually my truck was delivered and for the most part was detailed, however they missed obvious spots inside the door jambs which for a couple hour detail job, should have been addressed. I finally arrived home and the next day I drove the truck to my co-workers house as we car-pooled that day. When we arrived back to his house in the evening, the truck wouldn’t start. The truck ended up needing a tow and a new starter. The dealership reimbursed me for the cost of the starter, the check arrived fairly quick. So through all this you would think Derrick Snell, the person who sold me the truck days prior would have the decency to reach out, nope. No call, no text, no email. However, here we are on December 14th, almost 3 months later and I’m still waiting for reimbursement for the tow that I was promised. I would not purchase another vehicle from Mastrovito Hyundai. To me, it seems like the sales staff only cares about selling and once you sign the paperwork, you are dead to them. This same feeling applies to the owner who calls all staff meetings during the middle of the day causing massive delays to waiting customers. More
