Destynie and Mohammad were pleasant to work with but the actual purchase transaction was painful, took way too long and we still do not have any information on the warranty that was touted so heavily as a r actual purchase transaction was painful, took way too long and we still do not have any information on the warranty that was touted so heavily as a reason to use Brandon Honda vs a competitor. The delivered car was very poorly detailed. We found a magazine with the previous owner’s name and address in the back seat pocket as well as her phone number and address in the navigation system, clearly violating numerous laws around data privacy. I would have also expected the outside to be washed but that was less concerning then the data privacy concerns. The time to complete the transaction was abysmal we have purchased houses in less time. The process started around 9am and it took to around 5pm to finish on a car we came to look at (and a single test drive). We did not need qualification or vetting it purely took an absurd amount of time. In addition, the finance company recommended (in order to get a discount they would only offer with financing, as we would have much preferred not to finance) 8 days later still can not produce a loan number and has asked for the same material numerous times. We have since found out that finance company has numerous government violations outstanding for deceptive practices. This was not disclosed by Brandon Honda finance dept. The finance company also has numerous ethics complaints against it. It is shocking that this is the company recommended by Brandon Honda. We also did not realize until late in the day that Brandon Honda does not sell Honda certified pre-owned cars but uses their own certification process that they claim is better (but given the sloppiness in getting the car ready to sell - leaving in the car easy to see previous owner details - one wonders if the car went through any verification at all - very tempted to call the pervious owner to see what issues the car may have and to let them know their information was available to anyone who test drove the car). More
