Unmotivated to negotiate a deal To Whom It May Concern - earlier this summer, I was a motivated buyer with an intent to walk away with a new vehicle, whether it be a Hyundai or anoth To Whom It May Concern - earlier this summer, I was a motivated buyer with an intent to walk away with a new vehicle, whether it be a Hyundai or another brand. I came into Fairfax Hyundai already being a proud Genesis owner. Upon entering the sales floor, I was immediately greeted by a salesman and he started asking questions. He seemed a little distracted, but it was what it was. After exploring my story and my "wants", this particular salesman seemed to turn cold and unmotivated to try and explore additional options or routes as to get me into a vehicle. Not only was he unmotivated, he didn't seem to "value" me as a potential customer. As stated earlier, I WAS a proud owner of a Hyundai Genesis. Albeit, my Genesis was a 2009, and it had a small crack in the front bumper. Otherwise, my car had a clean title and car fax report and only approximately 85K miles (so in pretty good condition). After his team checked out my car, he completely low balled me on a realistic trade in value for my vehicle, and essentially told me that he was not going to be able to do anything for me. Since then, I have then purchased a BRAND NEW 2016 Toyota 4Runner Limited Edition, with all the options, including the extended warranty, extended maintenance and appearance package, roadside assistance, etc. The total VALUE for my transaction was approximately $43K. With me also being in sales, I can only assume this would have been a decent sized commission, for whoever closed the sale. I loved my Hyundai, and would consider going back as I ALWAYS received strong customer service from the SERVICE Department, specifically with Bob Bower. He always took care of me. Maybe the sales person I dealt with was having a bad day, or something, but being a potential customer, it was sad to see the complete and utter lack of motivation to try and uncover an option that would suit my buying needs. While I might be just "one fish in the pond", I just wonder how many others have had a similar experience to me, losing Hyundai, and specifically Fairfax Hyundai potential customers. More

Here's why folks...Don Barker and Michael Kim (Business Office) did an excellent job in the sale of the 2017 Sonata for my son. Don and I go back to 2003 when I purchased my first Hyundai and have made multiple purchases and referrals over the years. Don is one of the most honest, kind, professional, and knowledgeable men I know. I am happy to call him a friend as well as close business associate. I can only trust that his service and dedication to Fairfax Hyundai and Hyundai North America is truly valued! First Hyundai Purchase This was my first experience purchasing a Hyundai. The salesman was quite knowledgeable and very helpful. The car I went in for was listed as one having a tow hitch however when I got there it was on it. Fairfax Hyundai was good enough and added it on at no additional cost. It too way too long for financing but that's only because they had one person. More
