I am very disappointed with my recent experience purchasing a Ford Edge at Royal Oak Ford. Prior to purchasing, I was assured multiple times by the sales person that the loan rate offered by credit purchasing a Ford Edge at Royal Oak Ford. Prior to purchasing, I was assured multiple times by the sales person that the loan rate offered by credit union would be matched if I applied for a loan at the dealership. The salesperson was told my loan rate at the credit union along with my excellent credit score rating. He confirmed TWICE that he had approval from the loan department to match my credit union rate. This was confirmed via text message by him again an hour before picking up the vehicle. He promised my credit would not be run until he could guarantee a loan rate match. That unfortunately was a lie. The loan officer did his best to rectify the situation, but this never should have happened to begin with. More

The sales person did not go over any of the feature or options of the vehicle with us. Seemed to be disengaged in the sales process. Did not discuss the vehicle in any way, shape of form, only assisted wi options of the vehicle with us. Seemed to be disengaged in the sales process.
