wrecked $0,000.00 2015 Explorer Sport Bought a 2015 Ford Explorer Sport that was supposed to be like new condition, no accidents etc. Well after a week of owning the car I find out that i Bought a 2015 Ford Explorer Sport that was supposed to be like new condition, no accidents etc. Well after a week of owning the car I find out that it was wrecked when the fog light fell out. Then I noticed that the front bumper was out of place and the headlight was broken also. So they fixed it, half assed! Had to take it back again because the rear wheel bearings went bad. We complained again so they said they would fix the bumper and put new brakes on the vehicle since it squealed so bad when we would brake. Ended up the front bumper cover was damaged beyond repair so they put a new cover on it, and yes it does not match the paint on the rest of the car. We said the xxxx with it we would just live with it because we could tell that they would never fix it properly and that we were screwed. A few weeks later the front end started making noise, and I swore i wouldn't go back there. So we took it to another Ford dealer and they said that someone had beat the front hub with a large hammer and destroyed the bearing. Lets pray that my 40,000.00 mismatched painted explorer has no more Toothman surprises! See the attached pic of the bearing. SOB's all I have to say!! I was the priority, not the dealerships bottom line. They really went above and beyond when they really didn't have to. Buying a used vehicle can be a risk sometimes, but with Toothman Ford, you can have the peace of mind that this is truly a dealership that values the customer first! However, I was encouraged the second I saw the car on their website. The price was beyond reasonable and they were upfront about posting pictures of the minor scratches on the used car. When we got to the lot, Keith was available within minutes. He was prompt with getting us in the car for a test drive. I enjoyed working with Keith-- he was friendly, informative, and made buying the car hassle free. All the staff were professional and easy going; never once did I feel pressured into buying the car. I hate the pressure of looking and dealing with a car purchase, but my experience at Toothman was like no other, there was no pressure and the made everything so easy. When I started looking around the lot I was greeted by a salesman, Corey, very promptly, he was knowledgeable and friendly and I didn't feel pressured at all. I told him what I was looking for and why. He showed us what he had, We had just started looking so he printed out fact sheets on the cars I liked. a couple days later, I needed more information and when I called his cell he was out of town but got the information I needed to me in less than 15 minutes! Upon deciding I wanted to test drive a car on their lot, I found that Corey was out of town but Keith assisted us in test driving and made the process of purchasing the car I wanted so simple and no stress. It was like I was working with family! After my purchase Keith showed us all the options on our car and how they worked, he continued to spend as much time as I needed to understand all the functions of the car, he also helped me pair my cell phone to my new car as well.
