I bought a used Ford at the Stratham Honda Barn. They slipped in a $2750.00 warranty into the sale that they never honored. Ever time I called for service they said "We're a Honda Dealership, not Ford." slipped in a $2750.00 warranty into the sale that they never honored. Ever time I called for service they said "We're a Honda Dealership, not Ford." The last time they refused to help I took the car down the road to Graham Tire in Exeter and they quickly fixed the issue for under $50., something the Honda Barn couldn't bother to do even after charging me almost $3000. for a worthless warranty. A perfect example of why car dealerships get a bad reputation. More

WOW !!! This dealership has sure changed !!! Bought a 2016 low mileage used Fit from the Honda Barn last fall. Included as a dealer installed item was a charge for wheel locks. As an LX model wit Bought a 2016 low mileage used Fit from the Honda Barn last fall. Included as a dealer installed item was a charge for wheel locks. As an LX model with steel wheels, NO locks had been installed yet the charge remained on the invoice. When I consulted with sales, instead of refunding the charge for nonexistent items, I was told I would be granted a free oil change as needed.Two weeks ago, made an appointment, but was told only time was two weeks ahead. At that time, reminded service about the wheel lock compensation covering the oil change. When I arrived today at 1:00 PM, was told that the oil change would not be covered because they, “knew nothing about it !” Couldn’t believe what I was hearing since I’ve been buying cars at the Honda Barn since 1992. I always had an excellent experience at the HB and dealt with Jim Lurvey, Phil Goldworthy, and best of all, Roland as the Service Manager. Roland was the best and did many favors for me. At 78 years of age and about to buy my last car, I can’t believe this dealership has fallen to the level of not honoring a promise and charging for installed items that in fact were never installed. Complete xx and dishonest individuals now control this business. I won’t be back and encourage others to stay away ! More

Poor Experience with the Service Department When I brought in my 2004 Honda Pilot, I was having engine overheating issues. I specifically stated that I would like to make sure that there wasn't When I brought in my 2004 Honda Pilot, I was having engine overheating issues. I specifically stated that I would like to make sure that there wasn't a head gasket issue because it would probably not be worth fixing due to the age of the vehicle. When I received a call back, I was told that all of the systems were checked out and there was a hole in the radiator. I was assured that this happens to this year of the Pilots all the time. I agreed to pay the very high price of $1,200 because... this is Honda, right? They know these vehicles inside and out, right? Apparently not! The vehicle still has the same issue after replacing the radiator. When I brought it back for the same issue, vehicle overheating, I was told that it's probably losing the coolant through the head gasket... the first thing I told them to check when I went there! When I mentioned that I was told that they checked the head gasket last time, I was then blamed for creating the problem myself by using stop leak prior to them working on the vehicle!! I am in sales and I have to say, the credibility lost with the way this was handled shows a systemic lack of knowledge, caring and understanding of how the customer experience works. And if that wasn't bad enough, the call I was supposed to receive from their manager never happened. Buyer beware! More

Instant Fix Genius! I was without Sirius Radio and feeling the pain. Told by Sirius it was a dealer recalibration problem, I brought my year-old car back to Honda Barn I was without Sirius Radio and feeling the pain. Told by Sirius it was a dealer recalibration problem, I brought my year-old car back to Honda Barn service. Donnie Paige was unfamiliar with this problem and was going to calendar my problem for a week away. Very, very busy place. I am 20 miles+ from my dealership.. He saw my despair and asked me to wait a minute while he checked it out. Not ten minutes later, this Delightful Donnie had it fixed. Needless to say, I was really impressed with his kindness and willingness to meet this new "fix" challenge. Very grateful for such a caring, special service leader. More

Top notch team. All smiles despite some bumps. With my 2004 Honda Civic on it's deathbed (256k miles), I started searching for my next car - a used Honda Fit. I hit many dead ends - cars that were With my 2004 Honda Civic on it's deathbed (256k miles), I started searching for my next car - a used Honda Fit. I hit many dead ends - cars that were sold, cars that were previously owned by smokers, cars that had too much wear. As the search went on I kept coming across a nice looking Honda Fit at the Honda Barn. Living in Mass, I was hesitant to head well north of the border, but as my options became fewer and fewer, I gave the Honda Barn a call. I spoke to Ed Neale, who assured me the car was not owned by a smoker, and suggested I come up to see it - "I think you'll like it" I recall him saying. The next morning I arrived first thing, and met with Ed, who showed me the in's and out's of the car. The car was everything I was looking for, so it didn't take long before the purchase was complete and I was on my way. However... the story does not stop there. On my ride home the car lost most of it's power - a freak occurrence I must say. So I pulled over, and gave the Honda Barn a call. They were quick to get me a tow back to their place, where I got to meet the Service team. They jumped right on the car as soon as it arrived, and quickly diagnosed the issue. The car required repairs to the fuel injector, so I was given a loaner while the repair was made. I returned a few days later to pick up the car (it was ready the day after if broke down, but I just couldn't get there) While breaking down was unfortunate, the team was extremely apologetic and courteous about the set back. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Honda Barn. It's clearly a top notch operation and one that I wouldn't hesitate to deal with in the future. And now that I've had my car back for a few days I'm a very happy camper. Looking forward to putting 200k plus miles on this one. More

Found long lost friend Extremely clean and well organized garage area. Sales team is extremely knowledgeable about every car they have on the lot. I got the impression that they actually like the cars that they are selling. Absolute no pressure on the sale. I actually felt like they confirmed and perfected my research. To buy the car there felt more like a logical solution then a psychological manipulation. The sales team appreciates customers going to there place. Also everybody looks at you and gives you a friendly hello but that might be just cause it’s New Hampshire and not Massachusetts. The finance people actually tried everything to keep the leasing procedure transparent. I actually understood the numbers this time. I also think that this has been a Honda Philosophie for a long time and i am glad I found my way back to them. Accord midsize car with 260 hp and manual transmission! What a treat. What a rocket! So much fun to drive. More
