Doug was extremely helpful and willing to show me many different vehicles on the lot. He was very patient and professional with us from start to finish. We were there until almost 10:30pm but we got her done!! That's dedication to the job. period... I can't say that I've had a better car buying experience anywhere in my history of buying cars, both new and old. I'm glad to be back in a Honda and don't think I'll ever own anything else. Joe Tigner was also very helpful taking care of the finance portion of the deal. He was VERY good at what he does and is a master of his domain. Very cheerful and funny guy while being professional made that a painless process. From one Joe to another... Kudos to Joe T! Thanks guys! :) More

Never again Purchased a used vehicle. Within a week we had problems, but of course there was no recourse. Two garages identified problems with the car. Honda of A Purchased a used vehicle. Within a week we had problems, but of course there was no recourse. Two garages identified problems with the car. Honda of Ames reportedly towed the vehicle back to their garage to look at it, but said there was nothing wrong with it. Turned out they drove it to Ames from Des Moines when they said they would have it towed. We learned a sour lesson and would neither purchase nor recommend Honda of Ames to anyone. More

Liking my 2014 Civic more each day Was just looking at inventory and had no intention of actually purchasing the car that day, but they worked with me and we arrived at a price that I f Was just looking at inventory and had no intention of actually purchasing the car that day, but they worked with me and we arrived at a price that I felt was fair to me. I was able to get the combination of options and interior/exterior I wanted, finalize the deal, write the down payment check that evening and pick my Civic up the next morning. But the bad news is, with the Civic's reputation for reliability, I am not expecting to be shopping for a new car again for a bunch of years. Sorry about that, guys. More

We traded our 2008 Honda Accord in for a 2014 Honda Accord. Doug Krogman was our main salesman and he was so friendly, helpful and patient with us! It was a pleasure to work with him. Joe Tigner who handled finances was so knowledgeable and helped us understand all his figures! The General Manager was so nice also and easy to work with. Adolfo put me at ease upon my first visit, sharing with me the similarities and differences between the Sienna and Odyssey and being up front about their drawbacks. That and my own research online allowed me to make a more informed decision when it came down to purchasing our new Honda Odyssey. I appreciated their willingness to work with me on price and while I felt my old van was worth a little more than they did, I'm satisfied with the price I paid. I was really impressed with how well they covered features of our new van with us, making sure we understood different aspects of the many functions, warranties, etc. They answered our questions and offered to be there down the road should others arise. They also showed us where to report at their dealership should we require service, accessories, etc later. Doug was very thorough. Overall great experience. Friendly people. More
