I had a very disappointing experience with Bachman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I placed a $10,000 down payment toward a vehicle purchase. The deal ultimately did not go through, and the dealership agreed to return my funds. However, I was informed by Finance Director Drew Talreja that $1,000 would be withheld. I repeatedly asked the dealership to provide a signed document showing where I agreed to forfeit this $1,000 fee, but no such document has been provided to me. All I have received is an explanation that the dealership kept the money for holding the vehicle. In my opinion, customers should not lose money unless the charge is clearly disclosed and agreed to in writing. I expected transparency and documentation supporting any deduction from my deposit. I hope the dealership resolves this issue and returns the remaining $1,000. More
