Poor inspection of used vehicles 3 weeks ago I purchased a 08 Infiniti G37. Was told that all used cars go through a multipoint inspection to assure safety and reliability. Today on m 3 weeks ago I purchased a 08 Infiniti G37. Was told that all used cars go through a multipoint inspection to assure safety and reliability. Today on my way to work I began to hear a clanking sound. Made it to the parking lot and the Lower BOLT!!!! To the drivers front caliper is missing. Nothing else looks damaged. Now I have 8 Years automotive dealership experience prior to changing career paths. So I took a look. Now the thread are good on the bracket and I don’t believe that it’s been missing this whole time. What I do believe is that during World VW’s Service departments multipoint inspection. They either removed the caliper to inspect the pads or just didn’t make sure all of the bolts and lug nuts on the car were torqued and secure. So I called and was told the car has no warranty and there is nothing they can do (I was told 30 days) but whatever the paper states, is what it is. That’s beside the point. I can replace a bolt(probably a buck or two), that’s easy but this could have been a lot worse than what it was. Thank god the bolt didn’t get lodged in the wheel well somewhere or blow out my tire possibly causing an accident. Someone in that service department is not doing their job. There is no reason that bolt should have fell or wiggled out, especially going to a major part on the car that is my braking system. So I won’t bother to call back, I won’t bother to check the warranty paperwork (even if I’m right). I just want everyone who buys a used car from this dealership to have them put it on a lift and check all the bolts to steering and suspension. That way you know your vehicle is reliable and thoroughly checked. Good Luck! More

Dishonest Diagnostic I went to this dealership to have the fuel system tested as I was getting inaccurate readings from the fuel guage on 09 Touareg slightly over 100,150 I went to this dealership to have the fuel system tested as I was getting inaccurate readings from the fuel guage on 09 Touareg slightly over 100,150 miles that I was considering buying. Dylan said there would be a $65 diagnostic fee and if over a hour it would cost $130 additional. Dylan has the vehicle checked out and calls me about 45mins later and tells me and I quote "the fuel senders are working but they are working intermittently and that is causing the fuel guage to go all over the place". Dylan says both fuel senders need to be replaced at a cost of $542.30 before tax but they won't have the part in stock for a few days. I paid the diagnostic fee and took the estimate to the 3rd party dealership that I was buying the vehicle from and they contacted Dylan to confirm the diagnostic as they had run their own check of the fuel senders and said there was no issue. The 3rd party dealership informed me Dylan said the fuel senders were never tested based on the miles on the vehicle and he only recommended they should be changed. I was shocked and called and spoke to Dylan and he denied he ever told me that there was any issue with the fuel senders working intermittently and causing the fuel guage to go all over the place. Instead he stated there was no issue when they were tested other than them being a little worn based on the age and thats why it is recommended they should be replaced. My calls are recorded and for Dylan to lie about what he said to me both over the phone and in person reflects poorly on him and makes me not able to trust any diagnostic from this dealeralship. More

He helped us a few years ago with the previous car, the entire dealership is fantastic and ridiculously sympathetic to my mother's situation. After only a short time and a few different test drives we had the car that was perfect, another Jetta, the price was incredible the payments are perfect and the dealership is in contact always making sure things are fine. Roy had even helped my mother with the new features in the new car. We spent only a half hour in negotiations To anyone who reads this I absolutely implore you to visit world VW ask for Roy, if Roy isn't available have no fear everyone is fantastic Thank you again Roy and the entire world VW family Ryan and Eileen Finley More
