I Went to the dealership because my door has been stuck on childlock. They told me it would be around $160 just to be seen which was fine and if something needed to be fixed, they would apply that. I figured something was stuck and would needed to be released so I was happy to pay the $160. After having my car for almost 7 hours, they then gave me a report on the door that it would be $900+ to fix. That seemed a little bit crazy considering it's a newer car and I've never turned on Child lock before and it got stuck the one time I went to use it so I took it for a second opinion. When I went to get a second opinion, they had it fixed within 20 minutes. All that needed to be done was the child lock needed to be reset from inside the door. one click on the cable and it was fixed. They were so disgusted with you guys trying to dishonestly charge me for a new part that I didn't even need that they didn't even charge me. 20 minutes and I was on my way with a simple little reset. Super disappointing that you guys are so dishonest and wanted to charge me $900 for a part that I didn't even need. I thought I would get better service considering I bought the car brand new from you guys. I am in the market for the newest land cruiser and I will be driving past Brent brown and going to Toyota in bountiful in hopes that their service is much better and they are much more honest than Brent Brown is. super disappointed!
