Parks performed oil changes and other vehicle maintenance. In late 2014 with 96,000 miles on the vehicle, I discovered that the engine was using a lot of oil. Since Parks was performing the service, I was not monitoring oil levels and consumption as closely as I should have. By the time I discovered the engine oil consumption problem , we were 1 1/2 weeks beyond the 5-year power-train warranty (but still within the 100,000 mile limit). This made us responsible for %40 of a very expensive engine repair. I am disappointed with GM for not honoring the powertrain warranty, particularly since the problem obviously had developed over a period of months prior to my discovery (and within the 5 year warranty period). I am equally disappointed in Parks for not letting me know about this excessive oil consumption which they should have noted during previous oil changes. Due to this experience, I will not be a return customer of GM or of Park's Motors. More

DON'T TRUST THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! YOU''LL PAY FOR IT. Having to select 1 star above does not do justice in rating my lack of satisfaction with Parks Chevrolet. I brought my 2007 Suburban into Parks Motor Having to select 1 star above does not do justice in rating my lack of satisfaction with Parks Chevrolet. I brought my 2007 Suburban into Parks Motors to diagnose a check engine light that was on. The service department said the check engine light was due to a misfire on cylinder 1. The service advisor, called back later that afternoon with the diagnosis that this cylinder would not hold good compression and claimed this was due to a damaged lifter. He quoted a "worst case" price of $4,965 to replace the lifters and cylinder heads. Shocked by this price, I asked what the best case was and they said that to replace only the lifters in that block and if there was no further damage it would be $2670 (although he said they wouldn't recommend that). Knowing that these prices were nearing the price of an engine replacement, I asked him to quote this as well and in which he quoted me $7470. Mind you, I drove this 15 miles to Parks Motors from my home and had heard absolutely no knocking sounds that would lead one to theorize that a lifter was damaged. With this in mind, I told Parks motors to zip the Suburban back up and that I planned on getting a second opinion before I were to spend $5K on a repair. I paid the $116 bill for the diagnostic and took the Suburban to a trusted mechanic @ John K Fisher GM dealership in El Dorado KS. The next morning, the service writer there explained that they had driven the vehicle, ran a diagnostic (while driving) and found a misfire in all 8 cylinders. They then removed 80mL of gasoline from the tank and found a bubble of water the size of a quarter. They added a fuel system cleaner and dryer to the fuel system, and after a $160 bill, I filled up the gas tank from a trusted station and was on my way. I have driven over 500 miles since and have had no issues. Parks Motors recommended that I make $5K in repairs that were completely unwarranted and unnecessary. If I had agreed to these repairs, I would have paid for the unneeded repairs and would have still had the bad gasoline flowing through the engine (and the problem would have remained). Parks Motors did not do a thorough job of diagnosing the problem, but quickly jumped to an overpriced conclusion that wouldn't have solved the problem. $5000 is A LOT of MONEY!!!! You are messing with people's livelihood. When you quote a repair bill like this, you better be absolutely sure! I went back in to Parks to tell them what the REAL diagnosis was. They were surprised and they said they would talk to the tech that worked on it. They offered me a free oil change to make it right. SERIOUSLY???!! You tried to charge me $5K for a repair that wouldn't have even fixed the problem and you offer me an oil change to make it right?!! You could give me lifetime oil changes and I will never, ever set foot again at Park's Motors, and I will tell everyone else I know about this experience. More

My husband called and told the salesman Joel exactly what we wanted, he said that you had one on the lot, when we got there and there was not one on the lot, the salesman waited our time trying to sell us a we wanted, he said that you had one on the lot, when we got there and there was not one on the lot, the salesman waited our time trying to sell us a vehicle that we were already sold on. We were at the dealership until 11 pm that night my husband and I had mentioned multiple times that we had an 11 year old who needed to get home and go to bed as he had to go to school the next morning. We had to order the in, it took 14 days for it to show up, we picked it up there was rubbing compound all over it, found 1 spot where something was dragged across the finder. The car started dropping cylinders at about 500 miles, we scheduled service, the service department told me it was because we were not using a top tier gas, and that the cylinders had over carboned it had 2500 miles on it at this point. They changed the oil, and ran a fuel treatment through the gas; we have made sure that we have used only Quick Trip gas "A Top Tier Gas" since we have picked it up. When I dropped off the car for service they set me up with a loaner that was dirty, and smelled of smoke so bad, my son and I are allergic to smoke. When I drove the car it shook so badly when I got to 60, and at idle it scared me, I took it back to the dealership and they gave me a safer car that didn’t smell and was clean. I drove my car home and it was still doing it upon shutting the car off and restarting it after a couple of hours. We have called Joel a couple of times to get service set up again on the car; however, he is not returning our calls. So I called left a message 5/29/13 t@ 7 am thought I would get a call back to get the car in for service and I have not received a call as of 1:30 PM today. I did have the pleasure of speaking to a wonderful receptionist EVA.... She did all that she could do and listened to my concerns and empathized even though she could not help fix the issue with the car. So to her I would like to say Thank You. You need more people like EVA working for you. More

Today I took my 2012 Chevrolet pickup in for it's 1st oil change, under prepaid service contract. As always, I was greeted cheerfully by Ed Moore, and was given a loaner vehicle to drive. When my truck oil change, under prepaid service contract. As always, I was greeted cheerfully by Ed Moore, and was given a loaner vehicle to drive. When my truck was done, Ed called me on my cell phone to tell me it was ready. He told me everything checked out fine. Every dealing I have had with Parks Chevrolet, with everybody I have dealt with, has been very pleasant and rewarding. I would highly recommend them to others. More

Looked at buying a new truck at Don Hattan, Donovan and Joe Self before Parks. Went to Parks and talked with Cowboy John, who referred me to Ed Moore since it was a new Chevrolet. Ed was GREAT to work wi Joe Self before Parks. Went to Parks and talked with Cowboy John, who referred me to Ed Moore since it was a new Chevrolet. Ed was GREAT to work with! I had everything already figured out, researched and financed so it was just getting Parks to the right number. After two short conversations, they were there and I got my new truck....with more options and cheaper than what I planned to pay at another dealership! The paperwork was a breeze, and the truck looked incredible after Stewart cleaned it up. Ed went over all of the features with me, helped setup OnStar and the bluetooth and did a great job at explaining things. Definitely a pleasure to work with this team and I would highly recommend them!! More

I knew what I wanted before going to Parks, having done all my research (drooling) beforehand. I went to Parks having been recommended by family (we have bought from the Dodge side multiple times and had s all my research (drooling) beforehand. I went to Parks having been recommended by family (we have bought from the Dodge side multiple times and had stellar service!) Met with the salesman Brad who listened to what I wanted and did his best to meet my requirements. Unfortunately, he left the company halfway through the sales process (after ordering the car directly from the factory in Canada). A few times I went in with questions and dealt with Steve Klein who knew what he was doing and always personable. Then the sale was passed to Ed Moore who I think had it easy. :-P He had to do was answer questions Find some accessories asfter the order was placed, and find out where my car was a few (dozen) times toward the end. He never made me feel like I was bugging him or wasting his time. When i dropped by he would call and inquire as to the status of my car Usually my car was between Oshawa, Canada, Fairfax and finally and the dealership lot. He called me AS SOON as my car hit the lot. Jeremy Mitchell also made things easy for me, to finance and trade in my old car, (ok its not THAT old), like Steve and Ed, hes very easy going and a pleasure to do business with. top notch! I couldnt be happier with the whole experience and would DEFINITELY recommend this team!! GREAT JOB!!! More
