Our family came to Gastonia with the intentions of purchasing a 2014 Mazda6 and a 2010 Honda Civic from a dealership down the road from McKenney-Salinas. We just happened to stop in and look at the A purchasing a 2014 Mazda6 and a 2010 Honda Civic from a dealership down the road from McKenney-Salinas. We just happened to stop in and look at the Accords on the lot before heading out to make a deal on the Mazda. Sitting down in that Accord changed my mind, but we still went to give the Mazda a chance. In the end, we went back to McKenney-Salinas and purchased a 2013 Honda Accord LX and a 2012 Honda Civic for our daughter. The process of trading two cars and buying two cars could be a difficult process, but Eddie Jarvis made it as pleasant as possible. My husband and I both felt that Eddie was honest and truthful with us, and because of that, it was probably the most comfortable car-buying experience we've ever had. We were able to get TWO vehicles with more features that we expected. We were also able to purchase a newer Civic than we expected, and our daughter is thrilled with her car! For financing, we dealt with Roger Hoyle. He had had a very busy day, but was very kind and extremely patient with us.I had a spoiler installed on my Accord, so I've just had my first experience with the service department as well. I was very pleased by their friendliness and could tell that the service department is well run. I should also mention that we drove from Spartanburg, SC, and there are Honda dealerships closer to us, but I'm convinced that we would not have gotten the same results! I would gladly recommend McKenney-Salinas to anyone who wants to deal with great people at a great dealership! More

Our second purchase from MS Honda in 6 months. In December it was a CR-V, this time it was a new Civic. We were treated very well, with no games or hassle. The sales price they offered on the vehicle was very fair and slightly better than what the research websites suggested. They also offered a competitive price on my trade. I shopped two larger dealers and was turned off by their impersonal experience and excessive dealer installed option markups. Eddie remembered me from our last purchase and I again felt he was knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. Marvin worked with me and Eddie to finalize the deal and Chris had me in and out of the finance office in 10 minutes. I highly recommend this dealership, and I highly recommend working with Mr. Eddie Jarvis. More

I went to Honda after visiting a few other dealerships and the first person I met was Eddie Jarvis. He was very nice and not pushy. He let me test drive the 2013 Honda CRV and I loved it. I asked him straight out how much they would come down off the sticker price and that I also had a trade in. He was very honest and did not play games or try to take advantage of me considering I am a female. I was very pleased with the offer he gave me. I left to look around some more to make sure that is what I wanted. I came back with an hour and a half and bought the same car I test drove. He was very nice and honest with me the whole time. Him nor Roger tried to push me into letting them run my credit since I was already preapproved through my bank. They did tell me what they could offer me but they were not pushy. I would recommend Honda of Gastonia to anyone I visited 3 other dealerships and was given the run around mainly because I am a female. I love my new car and if I ever get another car my first stop will be to the Honda of Gastonia!! Thank you so much for your help, service, and honesty!!! More
