Vile, despicable, repulsive dealership I have unsubscribed from their email marketing yet they continue to send me emails as well as snail mail. There is a rattling in my dash after taking my car in that wasn't there before. They are way overpriced. Their $510 service was available 20 miles away for $220. People there were okay. More of an organization thing. More

Good Experience Until Now I bought a 2013 Sonata new and the sales process was professional and straight forward. No complaints. I have had all of the maintenance handled her I bought a 2013 Sonata new and the sales process was professional and straight forward. No complaints. I have had all of the maintenance handled here since then and the service staff have been very responsive, informative and professional. I have particularly enjoyed working with Ed Vellega. Recently the post sale experience has become a little irritating. I don't know how many letters I have received asking to buy or trade-in my car. No problem as I just throw them away. When they started calling during my dinner hour again trying to buy-in my car, it was too much. I would not mind getting a call if it were a safety issue, but sales calls are not welcome as I am on the DO NOT CALL list and NEVER response to telephone solicitations. Their marketing department needs to rethink this strategy if they keep their prior buyers satisfied. Prior to this, I would have given them five stars. More

McGrath City Hyundai is awesome! I love McGrath City Hyundai! I had been faithfully taking my 2010 Tucson to McGrath for routine maintenance for the past five years. The service team I love McGrath City Hyundai! I had been faithfully taking my 2010 Tucson to McGrath for routine maintenance for the past five years. The service team there is awesome - in particular I've dealt with Christine for the last five years and love her! So a couple of weeks ago I took my 2010 Tucson in for a routine oil change and walked out with a brand new 2016 Santa Fe! I found out that the wonderful friendly and accommodating attitude of the service team extends to the sales team as well! Not only did I have a great sales rep, Troy, during the purchase of my new 2016 Santa Fe, but the General Manager John K stepped in too and was great to work with! Thanks, McGrath - you guys are the best! More

2011 hyundai sonata horor ! I purchased a 2011 Hyundai sonata from McGrath city Hyundai in Chicago. I paid close to $17,000 for what I believed was a good running certified pr I purchased a 2011 Hyundai sonata from McGrath city Hyundai in Chicago. I paid close to $17,000 for what I believed was a good running certified pre owned car, boy was I wrong ! ever since they put new tires on the 2nd day after having it , I have had to visit the dealership 5 to 6 times because the car keeps pulling to the right , I paid for an alignment and it still pulled to the right and does to this day ! they claim there is nothing wrong with it and its the raod conditions causing it to pull. I also own a 2011 elantra and it drives perfectly straight on the same roads I drive on everday , so im not buying their BS story. afte 6 trips to the dealer I have had no results, corporate HQ would not get involved since that Hyundai dealership is independently owned, they did send me $200 gift card good towards servie and parts at another Hyundai dealership so I can get a 2nd evaluation. none the less ive requested that the dealership take the car back and put me into another vehicle that drives straight, they refused ! so I aksed to trade it in with them considering my frustrations with the vehicle and no fixes for it, I also have warranty and extended warranty , yet they refuse to fix it ! so when I went to trade it in they tried to lowball me ! I wanted a $9,800 car but they said it was sold, but they had a $12,800 car so I test drove it and then we sat down to discuss financial issues. they said the $12,800 car is now $14,800 because they need to certify it, even though I did not ask for that, then he says they can give me $10,500 for my $17,00 car which I owe $14,500 on, making it so that I would owe $20,000 (with trade in) for a car they had listed for $12,800 . after all of the known issues with the car I bought pulling to the right , I would expect them to be compassionate to me, they tried to get one over on me and I wasn't having it. so to anyone considering buying from McGrath city Hyundai on grand Ave in Chicago, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ! please go on GOOGLE and search "wandering sonata" or "sonata steering wheel pull" you will easily find numerous posts about it, Hyundai knows about this issue yet ignores it. all I wanted was a safe vehicle for my wife, now I have a dangerous vehicle that pulls to the right and can possibly cause a major accident, I hope that never happens because the I wish no harm to anyone, but I feel if Hyundai ignores this major issue that the end results could be devastating to consumers and pedestrians. as far as the dealership goes , they have continued to ignore my requests to fix the car and or take it back and put me in a new ne. they only call me to take my reviews down, which I will not until you honor the warranty and fix the car or buy it back. for all of you consumers reading this , GOOD LUCK to you if you choose to do business with McGrath city Hyundai. More

Great Service even after the sale People always write about bad service but I want to tell you about great service. I bought a 2013 Santa Fe GLS in July of 2013. At the time there ap People always write about bad service but I want to tell you about great service. I bought a 2013 Santa Fe GLS in July of 2013. At the time there apparently was some miscommunication as to whether updates to the navigation system were included. I was told they would be taken care of. When the navigation map company came out with an update I went to the dealer to see about upgrading. I was told that I had misunderstood. They were not included. To make a long story short, after a few calls to their customer service people (Erin, Armi, and Roger) they agreed to give me the latest map upgrade at no charge. There were some glitches when the map company sent the wrong updates a couple of times but Christine Tonelli and Eddie Vellega got it straightened out. Those two are the best service advisers I have ever dealt with. They care about their customers and go out of their way on many occasions to treat you right. I would buy another car from McGrath just because of their service people. The sales people are great too. So, McGrath family, give these two a raise because a big part of selling cars is great service, which generates repeat business and referrals. I bought a Genesis Coupe from them in April of 2014. More

aesome fast! i have dealt with McGrath Hyundai for a while now i ended up buying a nice Honda from them 5 months ago ..just this week my check engine light came on i have dealt with McGrath Hyundai for a while now i ended up buying a nice Honda from them 5 months ago ..just this week my check engine light came on ..i took it back to the dealer and talked to my salesman FRANK... . he said he would have them look at it...so from there EDDIE V was in charge ..after seeing what the problem was they not only fixed it but did not charge me anything. This dealer went above and beyond for me . they have taken care of us well. im looking forward to always doing business with them. Eddie v was awesome and kind to me and kept my waiting to a minimum even though there were many people ahead of me. i just want to thank them all for a job well done and thank Eddie V and Frank for all they do to help us!! More

Always accomodating Christine Tennelli squeezed me in for my oil change. She is always accommodating and helpful.
