Mixed Experience Very long story. I'd been shopping for a Pacifica Hybrid for over a year. First salesman David Marcet took my $3,000 deposit for a special order Hybri Very long story. I'd been shopping for a Pacifica Hybrid for over a year. First salesman David Marcet took my $3,000 deposit for a special order Hybrid Pacifica without ordering the car and no Purchase Order Confirmation (POC) because he said nobody was available at the time to do the order for me but come in the next day to pick-up paperwork but needed me to put down a large deposit. I went in the next day and no paperwork was available and he said he wanted me to finance but I said the deposit was paid and I'd like the order to be processed whether I finance or not and the price kept changing; very unprofessional. It was only a week later when I checked on the POC and the Vehicle Order number (VON) with Chrysler Headquarters, they said it wasn't ordered. I called David and he said he was waiting for me to come in to finance before ordering he kept on pushing financing even when I wanted to pay cash. I returned to the dealer and I told David I was paying cash and wanted to speak with his manager. It was only then he ordered it when I stood in the foyer waiting for over an hour but by then, the week's delay in ordering, the factory in Ontario, Canada that makes the Pacifica Hybrid had shutdown and I had told him specifically the week previously I wanted it ordered before the factory shutdown so made me very angry and had to wait a month before the factory opened again to make the car and nobody either David or the dealer contacted me during the 2 month build/delivery process. David also wrote a fake 5 star review of himself on Google 2 months ago - very shady. I called him 1 month after ordering and he said his manager would update me and I should be getting email updates but I never got anything, either a single call or email. I returned to the dealer twice to check on the status and the last time, I spoke with Robert Wisor the sales manager who was absolutely excellent, tracked my order and gave me an update that it would be ready the next day after the train unloaded it. 5 stars to you Robert. Took delivery the next day, only problem was by the time I got the call it was ready, it was night time and dark so hard to inspect it. I had a 2nd sales/delivery person Eduardo who did his best and was absolutely fantastic and made it as smooth as possible. The reason being was David was no longer a salesman at the dealership (surprise surprise). It was like a night and day experience. Everything was OK with the car but they didn't seem to have a Level 2 - 220V charger on-site so the battery was at 0% - not good for a Plug-in Hybrid electric vehicle and on quarter tank of gas but they gave me a voucher to the nearby gas station to fill-up myself. Hence, my first ride had to be in gas mode, not the electric mode I had wanted but not a big deal. All the accessories came with it OK. Also, needed the radio/UConnect code as it asked for it on the screen. The only way to get the code was to take out the whole unit out of the dash as it is a sticker on there in the back by the serial no. But by then, the service department was closed so during my next service, I'll have them pull the unit to get my radio security code as I will need it in the future for sure when the 12V battery dies and resets etc. Hence, this is my mixed review. The first part of the ordering, deposit, built wait and updates was an absolute nightmare, the 2nd part was much much better but still has room for improvement, especially when calling in, I can never seem to get to whom I wish to speak with, I keep getting passed from department to department. It is all down the the quality and training of the sales person and first impressions to the customer count. More
