I strongly recommend that anyone considering a used car purchase avoid Koons. Within 1,400 miles of buying a 40,000-mile vehicle, I had to replace the engine. The independent shop that performed the work showed clear signs that the engine had previously been opened and that parts were missing—indicating Koons was aware the engine was a problem long before the sale. I reached out to management, including Sulaiman Ahmad and Alex Atanassov, and received no response. Once the sale was complete, the dealership showed no interest in customer service or accountability. Based on my experience, Koons appears focused solely on moving vehicles off the lot, not on selling reliable cars or standing behind the products they sell. I would also avoid their repair shop given what was uncovered during the engine replacement. More
