I purchased a used 2024 on a Monday explaining I was in Florida for just under three months them moving to the west coast. This vehicle they claimed passed their pre-delivery inspection and had fresh oil & filter changed, and they would fix two cosmetic scratches, and replace tires that were almost bald. For the scratch repair & tires I needed to leave the car there a few days and pick it up ready to go on Thursday. When I returned for my vehicle 3 days later only one scratch fixed, tires not changed, and the address on my registration was wrong. I was told manager had left as it was closing time, my sale was final, but they would fix the address (which they never did) and they could arrange the other scratch and tires I wanted done for a fee. I drove the car maybe a week and was having issues with slippage at stops so went for new tires only to discover there was also a patched hole in the sidewall where it is not to be patched and the car needed new rear brakes that were at 2mm, and it needed differential fluid, a second opinion brought same results. A few weeks later after car died twice I needed a new battery which at least was covered by warranty and at that point I was informed I needed an oil and filter change because car needed 4.5 quarts and it had over 5.5 quarts in the system which was bad for the engine and when that was being fixed the filer was on so tight they struggled to remove it, they also showed me that the cabin air filter was filthy and needed changed. Exactly 3 months after purchase I went to register vehicle on the west coast and opened my paperwork that I’d been told was all my documents, title, and registration and I had not been given a paper title for my vehicle which is required to register it. I called Hollywood Kia and was told it was virtual title and to contact DMV to get it printed, but I could not simply go and order a title because the address on my registration was still incorrect and not recognized as accurate so I’m now going through the time & expense of dealing with trying to access my car title from 3,000 miles away. WORST car dealership ever!
