If you can do without your vehicle for a month, enjoy spotty and often nonexistent communication and relish getting the runaround, then Seattle Jeep's service department is just the place for you! I brou spotty and often nonexistent communication and relish getting the runaround, then Seattle Jeep's service department is just the place for you! I brought my 2013 Wrangler in for warranty repairs on a two-year-old engine on July 14 and didn't get it back until August 22. During that time I received occasional assurances from service adviser Eliza Soderberg that service techs were "about to" get started on my Jeep only to go a week or two between additional communication. My texts were ignored, emails unanswered and phone calls to the dealership were simply an exercise in frustration (I have memorized their on-hold music). I finally reached out to other regional Jeep dealers and they were at a loss to explain why it was taking so long for a relatively routine repair. One dealer suggested I get Jeep's customer care people involved and once I did my Jeep was ready the next day. Never again, Seattle Jeep. More

The treatment I received was completely transactional with minimal communication. The service representative I worked with was detached and almost condescending, and would only respond to my questions wi with minimal communication. The service representative I worked with was detached and almost condescending, and would only respond to my questions with, “the tests show the vehicle is working to specification.” I had hoped there was some explanation or some communication with the manufacturer, but that request was refused. The issue in question is a dangerous behaviors flat towing. We managed to find some ways to work around the issues, but the steering and braking behaviors of the vehicle has addded considerable stress to our travels. With this experience, I do not anticipate returning to this dealer for further maintenance and it’s unlikely I’ll buy another Jeep. More

Didn’t solve the problem after having the vehicl Communication from service rep was very poor and I had to constantly ask for updates. Too expensive. Didn’t solve the problem after having the vehicle for weeks. 3rd party recommended by dealer and that was used for PCM rebuild in CA was a disaster and never fixed the PCM, horrible comms and maybe in the end never even rebuilt it after having it for weeks. When the rebuilt PCM came back, the codes never changed. I got vehicle back, check engine light and MAF sensor code still there and yet I was charged $2k for other stuff. Afterward I went to another garage who got a PCM from ebay, installed it and fixed the check engine light in a week! Dealer parts dept did not exhibit sense of urgency with the 3rd party PCM rebuilder, when they told my service rep to stop calling them and maybe they could get some work done. Someone needed to dog the rebuilder who would put my service rep on hold for 45 minutes! The diesel mechanic, who recommended the PCM rebuilder who failed to deliver, was reassigned at some point which I found out later. Dealer did not charge me for the PCM nightmare (they were going to the 3rd party to get their money back supposedly but I never heard back) but did charge me for the MAF which was ok except wo fixing the PCM this can cause more failures. My biggest frustration has always been the lack of communication from the service rep. She is a professional, Personable and competent person and I suspect her workload is too high to provide the customer experience I expect which is to be updated on my repairs and called back. At one point there was a mixup and the rebuilder said my PCM was sent back yet the parts dept couldn’t find it. This caused me quite a panic knowing my vehicle was bricked wo my original PCM. Turns out the rebuilder mixed up the order yet continued to not report the status to the dealer. I thought going to the dealer with a vintage Jeep was the best solution because they had the tools, but turns out a regular garage fixed everything the dealer didn’t and did it faster and cheaper. And when they done, so was the diesel smell I complained about to the dealer. So after over $2k, the main issues I came into the dealer with (check engine light and exhaust gas diesel fumes) were not fixed until I took it somewhere else. I don’t doubt the other repairs were warranted but my main issues were not fixed after 6 weeks! Next time it takes that long for a vintage PCM try DriveTech on ebay and if it doesn’t work you can send it back! The only reason you got any stars at all is because I like Eliza and trust her sincerity but she is working in an environment with systemic failures at the dealer. Give the reps a better system and tools! More
