Smooth and Easy After some research and looking the truck I wanted was not available so I went into the closest Chevrolet dealer, McLoughlin Chevrolet, to talk.After After some research and looking the truck I wanted was not available so I went into the closest Chevrolet dealer, McLoughlin Chevrolet, to talk.After being shown the trucks they had on hand I was steered to Elliott, we talked over what I was looking for and he did an inventory search of all the other dealers around the area but my Colorado ZR2 wasn't around. He had me come back the next Thursday when they placed orders and we sat down and placed the order. Then it was just waiting on the truck to be built and shipped. Took a little longer than planned but when my truck arrived they gave me the a great deal and even managed to beat the financing I had set up with USAA. Friendly, professional staff made the whole deal a breeze. Congratulations to the crew at McLoughlin, a very satisfying car buying experience. More

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM MCLOUGHLIN CHEVROLET BUYER BEWARE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP: I purchased a used truck (2012 with 44k miles) from them in May of 2018. When I had my me BUYER BEWARE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP: I purchased a used truck (2012 with 44k miles) from them in May of 2018. When I had my mechanic check over the truck we were shocked to see the entire underside covered in rust. The rack and pinion (power steering) also has a leak and needs to be replaced. These are very expensive repairs. The rack and pinion is over $800 alone. I was assured this truck had been inspected, yet none of its issues were disclosed to me. The customer service when I contacted McLoughlin Chevrolet about this has been absolutely horrible. The salesman’s(Elliott Dawson) first response was if I didn’t like the truck I should trade it in. It was appalling and basically telling me to take a multi-thousand dollar loss! I have been ignored, blown off and they have been NO HELP. After going back and forth with Mickael Jeffers for weeks I was left with nothing but unfulfilled promises. He promised to get me an appointment with their service department, no follow through. I left messages with the sales managers and no calls back. This was after I offered to drive all the way back from Central Oregon to do the repair and nothing. In my opinion this dealership is your stereotypical shady dealership, not forthright and have little concern or respect for their customers and the cars they sell. There are many car dealerships in the Portland area, go to a different one.  More

Great buying experience. Sales Manager Mike, and sales agents Elliott and Ali were all excellent. Mike did what it took to make a deal I was happy with, even calling me up af Sales Manager Mike, and sales agents Elliott and Ali were all excellent. Mike did what it took to make a deal I was happy with, even calling me up after the dealership refused my initial offer. Elliott was straightforward and cut to the chase; no games. He had one of the service staff, Matthew, go over the car with me. Matthew was personable and thorough and even repaired a stuck seat belt for me after I purchased the vehicle. The only negative part of the experience was that completing the deal took a REALLY long time after we had agreed on a price. I think a couple other customers finalized their purchase before I did, Ali did a nice job keeping me entertained while I was waiting. So far, I am very happy with the car. I highly recommend this dealership overall. More
