In August 2025 I took my Tacoma in for service (a routine oil change). In July 2025 I purchased the Tacoma from Orem Toyota. In addition I purchased the extended warranty. At the conclusion of the visit, Enrique Soto informed me that the upper control arms of the ball joints on the two front tires would need to be replaced and it would be $2000. I immediately found Todd Robinson who then asked Enrique if the used car multi point inspection and warranty would cover it. Enrique then said he would have to ask the tech if the warranty would cover the cost of the upper control arms. By then it was 6pm at night and Enrique said I would need to leave my truck there. The next day I learned that the control arms did not need to be replaced. You can imagine my frustration that I had to leave my truck there as well as the mental anguish that I would need new truck parts after just purchasing the truck a month ago. Todd Robinson explained that Toyota does a thorough inspection. I thought and still think that this is terrible customer service. More

Enrique was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we worked through the air conditioner problem with our Chevy Impala. I’m sure you are great but I feel priced out and have gone to less prestigious shops because of budget. Paying 170. dollars for the initial assessment was my financial limit. I got my water pump replaced elsewhere and a new serpentine belt for under 1000. dollars. More

I learned that my next service will cost me $800. I paid thousands of dollars for maintenance package. This should cover basics like brake fluid, transmission fluid changes. Very disappointed.
