Outside interests over the years have included having worked on the Formula 1 circuit during my college years in the early 70's, to being heavily involved with Boy Scouts here in Akron with my oldest son and also enjoyed a couple of years of racing in SCCA, even finishing the 24 Hour Race at Nelson's Ledges, winning First in Class and 5th overall with my teammates. This is the third car that I have gotten from Dave Walter BMW And I will not go to another dealer. I have always gotten the best customer service while I have been there and their facility is top notch. The BMW And I will not go to another dealer. I saw a lot of cars online, I had just paid off an suv that I had had for around six years and I was ready and eager to get a new vehicle. Even that my previous vehicle was from a reputable company that I will just say was not BMW, I had still always wanted one and felt as if I had been kindof settling for what was practical and for what I could afford. I had just assumed that because my husband and I are just a middle class family that this type of cad would just be way out if our budget especially with a one year old son. Still, I always heard that a BMW was one of the safest, most reliable vehicles ever so before I completely disregarded the idea of getting one I wanted to make sure that it was indeed out of budget before I moved on to look at anything else. I called and talked to about 5 different people in about 5 different dealerships, let them know the budget, and whether or not there was anything within it available. All said no as I had expected so it didn't surprise me that much. Two of the dealerships also told me not to bother looking anymore because I am not going to get a car anywhere for the price range that I was looking for, even with the trade in of my previous vehicle. Just then while looking at other websites for another type of car, I got a phone call from Eric Eisenhart from Dave Walter BMW saying that he had a couple cars available that would be perfect for me and that I just had to come down to take a look. He had also taken pictures of the two and sent them to me on my phone so if I didn't like the ones that he had available I wouldn't waste a drive down to the dealership. I had told him thank you and that I appreciated it but I don't think that I will be getting my beloved BMW as I have already talked to quite a few dealerships and it is apparently out of my budget. He then asked what that budget was and after I told him said, "We can find you something I'm sure." He said that the two pictures of the BMW 's that he sent me were both within my budget! I was very excited, My husband and I came down to the dealership and the white car that I had liked out of the two looked gorgeous. The staff was great and everyone was so friendly I can honestly say I have never had so many people be so friendly and yes, just genuinely nice. It was refreshing after you already have this horrifying image of a salesperson chasing you around a dealership or pressuring you for a decision when you think of having to purchase a new car. My husband, myself, and my son all went down within a couple days to the dealership and we were unfortunately on a tight schedule because my husband had to be at work. Mr. Eisenhart was fast and efficient and we were in and out of the dealership within a very reasonable amount of time. He gave us the time to test drive the car alone and discuss any matters at hand privately, he showed me how everything on the car works and all of it's features, he answered any questions that we had, and was very thorough in each and every detail. I was thrilled when I left the lot with my brand new 2011 BMW that I apparently could afford after all! It was a pleasant experience and I can completely see why this dealership is one of the highest rated in the country. It's pretty obvious that they found out what people want and give it to them. I had been a regular Mercedes customer but had become tired of their somewhat pompous attitude. They seemed unwilling to do anything beyond what they were required to do and negotiating on price was simp tired of their somewhat pompous attitude. One of my colleagues gave me Shujaat's number and from the first conversation I could tell this was going to go well. Polite, professional, and knowledgeable is what he was all about. I did almost everyting over the phone or on the Dave Walter website as Shujaat talked me through it. The first time I went to the dealership was the night I went to pick up my new car. Shujaat was unable to be there, but put me in contact with Eric who is the antithesis of what everyone imagines a car salesman as. A true gentleman who patiently took his time with me regarding every detail of the my new vehicle. He even came out to my office (over a half hour away) 4 days later to make sure I had all the intricacies of the navigation system, satellite radio, phone system, etc., down. Certainly, this is not something he had to do. Erik did all my financial work with me and was a pleasure because he made this tedious task funny and enjoyable, even at 9 o'clock at night. All in all, I have had a very good first experience with the folks at Dave Walter BMW and I think my Mercedes days are now behind me. More

Had an issue getting the car in time due to an problem at port, the dealership kept me in the loop and made everything go so incredibly smoothly. I was between a 5 series and a 3 series, and when I finally settled on the 3 series Eric was very helpful and patient as I selected my color combination etc. I now have my dream car thanks to Eric and his dedication and hard work! The dealership handled our out of state used car purchase very well and as quickly as possible. Bob Strecker was an easy salesman to work with - very responsive and attentive to our questions and concerns. The one negative with our experience was dealing with Eric Eisenhart. In initially searching for our car on cars.com, we were talking to Eric about cars we found on that website. We initially called about a car we were very interested in, but were told it was sold. After continually seeing the listing on cars.com for over a week after that call, I called back just to see if maybe the deal fell through and the car was still available. At that point, I asked for a different salesman. Thanks to Bob Strecker, we now own that car. Knowing that were were interested in that car, I would think that Eric should have called us as soon as the original deal fell through to notify us if was still available. More

May be the best experience I have had at a dealership. I found this vehicle on Cars.com. I worked with Eric through emails to finalize the paperwork which couldn't have been easier. I chose to fly to Akron found this vehicle on Cars.com. I worked with Eric through emails to finalize the paperwork which couldn't have been easier. I chose to fly to Akron to purchase the car and drive it home (back to Wisconsin). Scott was there waiting for me as soon as I got off the plane. He took me to the dealership where I saw my car. Eric spent a lot of time helping me understand the technical aspects of a newer BMW. Completed the deal and had a great drive home in my new Certified Pre Owned BMW. I can't say enough about the way they made me feel comfortable and special with this purchase. More

I really enjoyed my experience of purchasing a vehicle from Dave Walter BMW. I choose to work with them because it was obvious from my first phone conversation with Eric Eisenhart that he was the kind of from Dave Walter BMW. I choose to work with them because it was obvious from my first phone conversation with Eric Eisenhart that he was the kind of salesperson I wanted to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable, congenial and very prompt in getting me information and returning phone calls. I had been at another BMW dealership several times and was very disappointed in their lack of thoroughness and lack of enthusiasm in selling me a vehicle. The difference with Eric at Dave Walter was immediately obvious. Eric and the other team members I met made me feel welcome and valued at a customer. His demonstration of the products and features on the car made my decision very easy to make. The other dealership probably would have had a sale if they provided a more welcoming environment and someone had taken the time to be so thorough in demostrating the features of the vehicle to me.
