Shady and two-faced dealership Looking into buying a Toyota 4Runner brought me to Fred Anderson Toyota. I've been shopping at Hendrick Toyota as well to see who was willing to play Looking into buying a Toyota 4Runner brought me to Fred Anderson Toyota. I've been shopping at Hendrick Toyota as well to see who was willing to play ball and give me a good deal. Worked out the pricing on a 4Runner and then went on to discuss my trade-in. This is where my feelings towards Fred Anderson Toyota has changed. Brought the trade-in on Jan. 9, 2017 to get appraised but they wouldn't give me a dollar amount. They said that they were waiting to see what the auction would give them. To this day I haven't heard one word from them. I know it's because they don't want to sell the 4Runner for the price that we negotiated. Yes, I've dragged this on for over 1-1/2 months but I'm just trying to get the best deal possible. I even told them I'm in no rush. If a deal happens, it happens. Apparently these guy's don't want a deal to happen. I'll just take my money and spend it at Hendrick Toyota. They're communication has been better. Their sales staff is leaps and bounds above Fred Anderson Toyota. They don't nag you as much. Fred Anderson comes off arrogant and less concerned about the customer. Also, Eric Peterson lied to me. I randomly asked when the 2017 4Runner's would be coming. He said some time at the end of February, early March. Lies!!! In checking their site the following week I noticed something interesting. They had a few 2017's. How can I trust a dealership when their salesman just lies to your face. If I were you, I wouldn't bother with these guy's! More
