I purchased a brand-new car from Suntrup Buick GMC on May 6 2025, and 2 weeks later the engine light comes on. The same engine-light issue has persisted for three months. I may have driven my car for two weeks out of the three months. I’ve brought it in for service three times due to the recurring problem. No follow up on what the issue is other than the censure. The dealership claims they called me on July 9, but I never received any messages. I had been trying to work directly with the GM to get this matter resolved, but keeps getting the run around. Although the service desk has called me before, they gave me some phone number that wasn't mine, communication has been inconsistent. Today, I spoke with Dave Brewer in the Service Department. He was unhelpful, argumentative, and showed no compassion. When I explained to him that I didn't want the vehicle back, without any resolution to my concerns, he insisted I call GM and demanded the return of the loaner car. I reiterated that I had been attempting to follow up without any response. I asked if he could contact GM on my behalf, but he refused, claiming GM is responsible because they make the vehicle. When I pointed out that I purchased the vehicle from the dealership, he said... my vehicle was ready and if I didn't return the loaner today or tomorrow he threatened to file a stolen car report---then abruptly hung up. Took my Buick encore in twice for intermittent starting. Sorry they can't find problem plus last time I had to pay for their diagnostic! Never by a car from them! Dissatisfied customer! had the absolute WORST experience with this car dealership and I’m going to tell EVERYONE I know not to EVER buy from this place. If I could give it 0 stars I would. They sold me a Jeep with bad ro dealership and I’m going to tell EVERYONE I know not to EVER buy from this place. If I could give it 0 stars I would. They sold me a Jeep with bad rotors and a bad radio and did not try to help me fix it. They did fix the rotors after Allstar Jeep checked my Jeep out because it started jerking when I put my foot on the brakes and told me the rotors were bad! But the radio is a different story! I bought a warranty from Suntrup when I purchased my Jeep and the warranty company would only pay for a re-manufactured radio and would only cover a partial amount for a brand new one! There were no re- manufactured ones available and there was no ETA for one so I had to get a new one. Since Suntrup sold me a car with a bad radio they should have covered the portion that the warranty company wouldn’t. The salesman said they would pay for it but never did and instead I had to come out of $900 for a radio on a car that I just bought. They just sold me a vehicle and just left me out there to fix things myself. I couldn’t even get a complimentary gas card or anything!!! They didn’t care AT ALL!!! Is this what you are about? Selling people bad vehicles and leave them out there to dry? This is not good customer service. I will be contacting the BBB and your headquarters. I will not let this go!!! I was excited about purchasing a new vehicle and you took away all the excitement and left me in despair!! The WORST!! More
