Strange car dealership. Place is a ghost town. For context, I've purchased over 10 Hondas in my life. This was my 1st time to Honda Aventura. And, oh boy - what an experi Place is a ghost town. For context, I've purchased over 10 Hondas in my life. This was my 1st time to Honda Aventura. And, oh boy - what an experience. It started by searching online for Type-Rs in my area. That same day, Kenyse Stewart from Honda Aventura contacted me by text. She asked if I wanted to setup an appt to test drive the car. I said maybe. She was persistent and continued sending me texts. I said I could come by Sunday (1/8) after the Miami Dolphins game. :) She said great and went on to schedule the appointment for 5pm to test drive the vehicle. I drove more than 40 minutes from Broward County on Sunday afternoon to test drive the vehicle. I show up and a gentlemen walks up and asks if he could help me. I said I had an appointment to test drive the Type-R. The sales guy Geo told me that test driving the vehicle would not be possible until "agreeing to terms" to buy it. I asked him why. He told me that the car is special and too expensive (wth). To be honest, I got pretty upset. I felt they were playing with my time and not taking me seriously. I've owned a 2019 Type-R and could afford a better car if I wanted. It wasn't so much that these guys wouldn't let me test drive it (I get it, it's a highly sought after car and probably don't want a lot of miles on it), but it was the dismissive way and tone Geo had with me when explaining their reasoning. He went on to tell me that the car is worth too much for me. First, he said the cost would be $2,500 over sticker for "market adjustment", then he corrected himself by saying it's a $25,000 adjustment. Is this guy serious? So, with Geo's reasoning nobody could test an expensive car. Mercedes, BMW, Tesla, you name it...nope. Can't test drive any expensive cars. Just blindly agree to terms then test drive it. What a jokester and clown. I laughed and walked out. Stay away from this graveyard of a dealership and save your time. More
