Jim Salerno GMC was a pleasure to work with. They still believe in old fashioned customer service. They were knowledgeable, but did not apply pressure to complete the deal in a pushy way. George, our salesperson, spent time with both me and my husband answering all our questions. He even stayed late on a Friday evening to ensure we could take our new Acadia Denali home that evening. The paperwork process was even easy - Jim Salerno and his team have it down to a science. Prices were by far the best of any GMC dealer in the area. I highly recommend Salerno GMC. More

You have to know that I really wanted to write this because this is my second time; the first was in inadvertently deleted. I am a senior citizen who has purchased three new cars in my life. Each time because this is my second time; the first was in inadvertently deleted. I am a senior citizen who has purchased three new cars in my life. Each time my experience has been high pressure to purchase the day I visited a dealership. Upon entiring Jim Salerno in Randoph, NJ, my wife and I were greeted by George Gregory. We had visited other competitive dealerships, test drove other vehicles, but thought we liked the Buick Enclave the best. George was low key, explained all of the features of the vehicle, answered all of our questions before and during the test drive. George made sure we experienced several different driving experiences, open road, hills, and pick up capabilities of the car. George is a breath of fresh air in experiencing a new car purchase and is a credit to Jim Salerno's sales team. George is always very helpful and he was the salesman that sold us our car a few years ago. It's comforting to be able to always speak to your salesperson if you have any questions and concerns. I went to this dealership for a GMC Yukon Denali XL. I purchased the vehicle in late October but intentionally waited to submit a review until after I had experience with their service team. The sales purchased the vehicle in late October but intentionally waited to submit a review until after I had experience with their service team. The salesman (George) was friendly and very helpful without being pushy. He took the time to talk about the vehicle and show us different options. While common among luxury/foreign dealers, domestic dealers either don't or are hesitant to allow a customer to test drive a car without a salesperson in the car. Jim Salerno allowed me to take the car home and "live" with it overnight. This occurred during the October blizzard. Needless to say, the SUV performed well and sold itself. Having leased/owned various "tiers" of cars over the course of my driving life, I have come to appreciate and value the "ownership" experience. Despite being closer to another GMC dealer and equidistant to another, I went with Jim Salerno because they were more accomodating and took the time to talk about my families needs. I have had two service visits so far and feel good knowing that the "dealer" experience will continue to be positive throughout my ownership of this vehicle. George was great at the onset, during the transaction and took the time to answer questions after the sale. All the sales people seem friendly but having worked with George, I would highly recommend him if you are in the market for a GMC vehicle. More

I'm sure the rest of the sales staff is good, but when you walk in ask for George. You will not be disappointed. I visited the dealership about 4 months before we bought the car. Our lease was ending and I was looking for a replacement to my Volvo SUV. In my experience when I tell the salesmen I'm buying in 4 months the sales person runs away... worried about their quota this month not some guy kicking tires. But not George, he spent 45 minutes with me answering questions and taking me on a test drive. A few months later I returned with my wife and over the course of 2 more visits we picked out the features that my wife wanted in the new car. During all of these meetings George was patient and always willing to offer his insight on the truck. We received a very fair price and Joe Borden was able to get us the truck we wanted. Joe also treated us very well. Making sure that we received any discounts that were available and making sure we understood everything about the purchase. Between George and Joe, my wife and I are extremely happy with our purchase. More
